        Lovely doors Qwerty.

Got in from town about 3ish. I'm shattered now.
At least we got everything we needed. Stocked up at the butchers.Bought some lovely joints.
Then, hubby asked if we could have sausage and mash tomorrow, instead of a roast.
Popped in Asda on our way home, took me ages to find stuff, they have installed new freezers, and all the aisles have been swapped round.

Nanto I hate when they change the isles around , takes ages to shop then you just get used to it and they do it again

Enfys enjoy your meal and time with your children it wont be often you get them together so makes it all the more special , bet hubby was pleased to see him ,

Well I have been playing Nurse'y , B taking the bone out of a leg of lamb and sliced through his finger , I was upstairs ironing , heard him shout for me came downstairs and he has his hand in the sink blood everywhere ,
Luckily I have lots of liquid antiseptic wash and dressing from Hospital when he had his Hickman lines in ,
Once it was cleaned up it wasn't so bad ,
Quite deep but came together ok , Two Steri strips and a big finger plaster and managed to stop the bleeding ,
He had a skin graft on the knuckle some years ago and he's managed to go right through that but as its a long time ago I don't think it will be a problem ,

Cant be left on his own that man

Dear me it is never ending with him is it Oma? Good job you are a good nursey. Enfys enjoy your time with your son.

They swap the aisles so we do we do not get too comfortable and to make us look at different stuff. It does annoy me I must admit as I write my shopping list in the order the things are on the shelves and changing the aisles means that I spend too much time trying to find things and I don’t have the patience!

My friend came for lunch and we had a really good chinwag, we haven’t seen each other for a little while so it was good to catch up.

Quiet day tomorrow, think I will finally get some proper packing done, I am so late this holiday.

Have posted in YEO by the way. Nobody needs to respond I just wanted to let you know.....

I have just read your post in YEO.
Lunch looks lovely. Can't beat a good catch up with friends ZIZI.

Enfys, i can imagine how you must have felt when you saw DS. I bet hubby was delighted as well.
                Hope you enjoyed your meal.

Oma, pleased B's accident wasn't a hospital job, but i bet his finger is throbbing.

Oh my, Oma! That man of your's. Tie him to the chair 😂 Enfys I did ask where your son was from in another thread. I thought it was from a distance but not that far ... how special. WG I love your little donkey. You are really talented. Have you thought of selling on a internet site like Etsy?

Saw DD1 & boys today. Don't you just love 'em.😘

I'm sure half the time when they say they want to go out, it's just to keep us on our toes, Mimi!

Oma - Storm is a one off in the dog kingdom!! And I think B is a one off in the OH Kingdom. I hope his finger is ok - it sounds as though you did a good repair job.

Zizi - lunch looks yummy - and it does you good to sit and have a good chat with an old friend.

Plant - how lovely to get visitors like that - I love it too.

Qwerty - your doors are beautiful, but you can't just whizz over them with a wiper-type thing! We've got a single and a pair of double doors with narrow glass panes right down to the floor and they're always a good indication of how tall the children are growing, and we can compare with the wet nose marks kindly applied by Eva.

Nanto - isn't it always the way - you've got all those lovely joint in and OH was sausage and mash! I hate it when the supermarket moves everything round.

Wee Granny - I think you could sell your lovely Little Donkey card too - you really have got a distinctive and very appealing style - love it.

I didn't get much of that h*******k done today - but our bedroom and bathroom are gleaming! There's just the rest of the house to do now.

Well so much for Dd going out it was cancelled at 5 pm after she dropped g/d off, one has an ear infection one had gone to a gig! another isn’t going because she doesn’t like one of the girls that’s going and so the other girl that was going with her isn’t going now because she isn’t , women!!!!!! So Dd really annoyed as she went to the trouble of bringing her here when it was not necessary but we love having her anyway, a table was booked for a meal , so she had to start and cook something for herself at home, it’s been arranged for just drinks now next Friday so we may have to have her again overnight if daddy is working away, personally I would tell them to jog on , we didn’t go out for a meal g/ d wanted fish and chips so that suited me, best laid plans eh.
Now downstairs at 4 am with a dodgy stomach thanks to fish and chips nursing my Gaviscon 😱

Qwerty how is your stomach, better I hope. I can no longer eat fish that has been battered else I am on the gaviscon no stop. In fact I use it that much I swear I am keeping the company that owns it in huge annually profits.

Had a bad nights sleep and when I did eventually go off I had a horrible dream about my eldest DS . I woke up crying, dreams seen so real don’t they.

Now, shall I clean the oven today or go out .... I hate cleaning the oven but it does look nice when it’s done .
What has everyone else got planned? Enjoy your day whatever you are going to do with it

                            Qwerty, hope the Gaviscon worked.
What a to do about the girls night out.

Must go and sort all the meat i bought yesterday for the freezer. Couldn't be bothered yesterday.
Also bought a pack of non slip hangers yesterday. Some of my tops in the wardrobe keep slipping off the hangers.

Hubby has gone to the car boot sale with his brother.

I will catch up when I'm home, I hate typing on this tiny phone!

Good Sunday morning everyone. It's sunny here although it must have rained overnight - everywhere is wet. I hope that's a lake in Nanto's graphic, not a flood.

Qwerty and Mimi - I'm sorry you had a sleepless night. Nana naps for both of you this afternoon. Qwerty - what an unbelievable 'night out' for your DD. How can 'friends' (?) be so difficult! But you got to spend time with your GD1 - it's just a pity that her chosen tea didn't agree with you. I must admit, I love fish and chips.

Nanto - non-slip hangers are a good idea. Hangers are the bane of my life - some are too wide, some are too narrow, some are too slippy, and I've never got the right one handy when I've just ironed something! It sounds as though hubby is living dangerously again - car boot sale -

Gem - have a lovely time with your friends. I hate typing on my phone, too! I hope the train home isn't too crowded.

I'm definitely going to do some more of that
housework stuff today. Well, probably. Errr, no, perhaps. Unless I can get out of it, of course.
