Beautiful day again. We got all the gardeing done, dinner over with, went in the shower.
Did a bit of washing and hung it out. it's almost dry now.

Hubby went to the car boot sale early this morning.
He bought a lovely Christmas fibre optic decoration. Brand new, still wrapped in polythene and in it's box.
    Only paid £2.50.

How cute Nan2, and a bargain!

We have had a nice relaxing day, and I gave OH some reflexology. Off to get ready to meet our friends now.
        Bye for now ☺

Coooooooooeeeeeeee - the Daisy family is back! Please don't mention weather forecasts, unseasonably warm temperatures or that yellow disk thingy in the sky!

I'll be back to start catching up later.

You've all been very busy while I've been AWOL. We thought there would be internet access at the camp site, and there was, but it was soooooo slow nothing would load properly and everything kept timing out, so I've been in a virtual wilderness for 4 days.

We've also been in a non-virtual fog for most of the time - I'll post in my Journal about it all!

Wow, there's so much going on - everything from Aggie's op (I do hope it all went smoothly, Aggie) to Oma not getting raosted and Zizi getting plastered, with a GGS's Christening added to the mix (I hope you had a lovely day, Plant) plus other holidays, great craft work, and some yummy meals on the go.

We got back just after lunch, unpacked and cleaned the caravan and even managed to get a couple of loads of washing on the line, although they weren't complete dry.

Tomorrow it's back to the usual Monday routine of trying to cram too much into the morning before picking GD2 up from playgroup at 2.30. Tonight, I need an early night to get over the holiday!

Zizi - we didn't have any noticeable smell with the plastering we've just had done in the kitchen and dinning room, but oh my days! the dust!!!! You clean it all up and then do it again, and then start all over yet again, and still the dust comes. It would be heaven for the bleach babes!!! And we only had the ceilings done. They were artexed but as the artex wasn't damaged in any way they were able to plaster over it, thank goodness!

Daisy yes it is dustier than usual but don’t forget I am used to excessive dust due to living so close to the airport although the plastering dust has got into places the airport dust does not. Also, although it has not been ever so warm as was promised it has still been warm enough to open the windows to let fresh air in. As we do not have curtains in the sitting room at the moment (so good for ✈️ spotting) there is more dust than normal. Oh well, never mind, a flick with the fluffy thingie will do the job when I get around to it.

Zizi - it sounds as though you are coping with the upheaval much better than I did. Thank goodness it's not too bad!The dining room was less of a problem than the kitchen, but even though we covered the work tops up every day they still needed a jolly good scrub every evening. I expected it to be messy, but it was the fact that even after the plastering was done the dust hung around for ages. And you know how I love housework.

                                Morning everyone.

Daisy welcome back but what a coincidence, we had a yellow disk thingy in the sky while we were away also, in fact it seems to have followed us home, anyone have any ideas as to what it could be. I heard rumours that it was supposed to make an appearance during the summer months but I am not totally convinced about that !

Plant looking forward to see some pictures of the Christening.

Nana2 you have got a bargain there. I dare not buy anymore Christmas decorations, we sent a lot to the charity shop when we were sorting out our things prior to moving and over the past three years I have brought so many new ones I now have more than before we moved. !

I don’t have anything planned for today so perhaps I could started looking on the Internet for festive gifts for family members that are impossible to buy for. I will pop and have a look on the thread dedicated to this topic to see if I can see if I can get any inspiration from there
Bring me sunshine in your smile.
