Gem safe journey home , when does Clover get back ?
Daisy your right when your used to dogs you automatically look down before you move , Storm has a nasty habit of laying in the door between the lounge and dinning room so if you have a cup or anything in your hand you have to be careful he booby traps you

Oma, you make me feel very lazy, my bed is open and airing, that is about it. I don't plan any housework, perhaps a potter in the garden and I have some mending to do.
Went out to lunch yesterday with DD, SIL, GD1 and SIL's mother. I felt sorry for her, she is getting very frail in body and mind and has decided to stop driving, her last bit of independence gone. She still lives on her own in a large family house since her OH died, she pays for carers. My GD2 is going to borrow her car for a month as she has been offered a job and needs a car to get there.

Clover must be back this weekend. Safe journey home Gemini.

Well, the sun came out eventually.

Towels,t-towels and tableclothes washed and out on the line.
        Kitchen windows been cleaned.

Hubby having salad and chicken nuggets today.
I'll have my usual cheese omelette.

        Gem,have a safe journey home.
I would imagine the Clovers will be back any day now.

Had a wonderful lunch with the family , a far cry from the one we had two weeks ago ,everyone of us enjoyed every bite .
GS1 had 3 courses , have no idea where that boy puts it all

Hes suffering from Prickly heat and cream and antihistamine not working so his back is driving him crazy , we left while the others were having coffee and took him home , I wet a small towel with cold water and put it over his back , when we left he was lying on his bed said it felt lovely and cool

Ouch for DS1. Hope it clears up soon.

Today tirned out warmer than we thought it was going to.
Just watched the forecast on Countryfile, another hot week in store.

Hubby got a bit excited this afternoon,he's got his first plum on the plum tree.

                Hello everyone

Poor GS1, if it doesn't clear up he may need to see the Dr, stronger antihistamines can be given on prescription Oma.
The first plum must be very exciting Nan2!

We wandered into Stratford, sat outside to have breakfast, looked in couple of shops and all too soon it was time to come home.
OH drove back in good time with no hold ups and we were at our friends house just after 2. We had a lovely lunch and chat and catch up with friends in the garden.
The cats were all fine and happy when we got home.
We are so lucky in having 2 sets of brilliant cat sitters

Gem - welcome home. I hope you're feeling much better now and your relaxing week-end did you good. I bet the cats were pleased to see you back even though they've obviously been well-cared for.

Plant - Poor SIL's mum. It must be hard for all of you to see her getting more frail. Will she be able to get out and about a bit without her car? Is it tomorrow you get your new one?

Oma - poor GS1, it must be very uncomfortable for him. Is he wearing pure cotton t-shirts all the time?

Nanto - I'd be excited getting my first plum, too! Oh dear, I havne't got a plum tree, as I'm going to have a long wait! Hahaha.

I'm impressed with all the washing that's been going on today. You are a lot of busy bees.

I spent a couple of hours this morning portioning up dog food for the next 2-3 weeks and defrosting Eva's freezer. It was a bit of a juggling act because OH has put a large box of super glue in the main chest freezer (don't ask!!! it belongs to the wood-turning club!) So trying to keep Eva's meals frozen meant a lot of shifting things round. Still the job's done, and the freezer is all clean and frost-free again! I was going to go straight out into the garden after lunch, but after last night's barbecue I was quite tired, so sat and watched a rerun of Mamma Mia on tv. I had a long chat with one of my sisters-in-law and caught up on all the family news, got dinner and then went out and planted up a large tub which has been empty for ages. I've put a variegated japonica in, which will be quite pretty if the promised flowers materialise, and surrounded it with bright French marigolds. Did the watering, and am now getting organised for an early start tomorrow as OH has got his second lot of injections for his eye. It means an early start, but better that than hanging around all day. I hope it's as quick and smooth as last time.

Qwerty, I'll go to my emails & see what I attempted to send. Just two words...seive, memory.😉 Daisy how often does your OH have the injections? Poor fella. Has he got a good ophthalmologist at the hospital? I hope so.

Another extremely warm night but I slept pretty well thank goodness. DH has his 3rd round of chemo this morning so will be leaving for the hospital in about an hour, we are there for 3 hours and the time goes quite quickly. I think I’ll go for a walk around, the lake this morning, gives me a chance to stretch my legs.

Have a good day ladies, keep cool 😎

                                Good morning everyone.
                                Sunny again

                                Daisy a busy day yesterday!
I hope the hospital days for Mr Daisy and Mr Enfys go smoothly.
Daisy, my auntie goes every 10 weeks at the moment (they vary it for her between 9 and 10 weeks, depending on how the eye is each time) She says waiting for the injections to take is the longest bit, and sometimes waiting for a taxi back!

Today is a 'free' one. I will go to my mums this afternoon. We have our leaflets to deliver , so we may do that today, but wait until it is cooler in the early evening maybe.
I have an early (8am) start tomorrow with GS1, so am making the most of a lie in today!

                                Have a happy Monday.
