Not been as warm as I thought but nice enough to get some things sorted in garden and the garden furniture out of the loft at last

Well just spent a fair bit of time with a hand brush cleaning my newly painted fence ,
Next door decided to pressure hose his side and it forced all the green gunk between the slats into my side and when it's dried it's left it all on the fence , as my side is slightly lower than theirs it also pushed all the leaves and gravel through too so had to clean all that off the grass too .
He looked over the fence seen all the mess and just went indoors , if that had been me I would have went around and cleaned my mess up ,

Hello Aggie. How are you? Nice to hear from you. Next door had a ‘fairmly do’ today. We couldn’t mow or use the sprinkler, oh how I was tempted 😆, and by the time people had started to arrive I had 3 wash loads out. When my dryer is at it’s highest I think they must see it. If we had known I would have delayed the washing. 🙄😁

Aggie, I wasn't sure what a Month's Mind Mass was, so looked it up. It sounds a comforting and supportive service, and I hope it helps with your grieving for Jim. The Anglican church used to have a memorial service, I think as part of Evensong, a few weeks after the funeral. I don't know if they still do. I will be thinking of you tomorrow morning. xx

Grauntie - you a re a naughty girl, leading Oma astray by suggesting she squirts the gunk back, but it was kind of you not to use your sprinkler while your neighbours were having their get together!

It's been a lovely warm and sunny day here today. I took Eva out early and kept her in the shade, so she was fine. I've spent this afternoon gardening. OH got me some summer annuals yesterday so I started potting them up. It took longer than I thought, but I kept leaving off to do other jobs around the garden as well. It looks a bit better, but not much!

Gem - safe journey tomorrow, and have a wonderful time. We'll be good - how about you!!!!

Tomorrow we're going up to DS1's for a family barbecue for his birthday, which is on Tuesday, and mine, which has come and gone! It's the first chance we've had to get together since he went to Australia at the end of May, so it will be great to see them all.

I'm being a good girl and doing my BP checks 3 times a day, and after Wednesday's very high readings it's been below 140/80, so I don't know why it was so high on Wednesday except that I was very tired.

In ref to your OH's eye injection ...I've only had one during all my eye problems. The nurse who was assisting the dr was very experienced & kept putting numbing drops in the other eye, ie. the one not being injected. Because we blink both eyes together numbing the unaffected eye meant I didn't blink. It's not as bad as you might think. Good luck for Monday Mr Daisy.

Its 4.44 am and I haven’t had a wink of sleep yet !
We had a lovely meal with OH’s sister and her OH . The whole idea of the get together was to run through our up and coming weekend away in Liverpool but we hardly mentioned it . We talked about everything else under the sun except the trip . Unbelievable!!

Any one cooking Sunday lunch today. I’m not , it’s going to be to hot to be in the kitchen cooking

We both had a roast beef dinner yesterday,while out shopping.
So, not cooking a sunday dinner today. Hubby asked for a meat,potato and veg pie.
Took one out of the freezer last night.

Wonder if Gem is on her way yet.

I hope all goes well for your OH'S eye injection Daisy . My auntie has it every 9 weeks and although it isn't something she looks forward to neither does she dread it. Reassuring words from Nana.
It sounds as though the high BP may just have been a blip.
