I had a lovely day with lovely GD. We went out from lunch and did lots at home, and had a lot of chatting, which was so nice. I was sad to see her go at 5pm, but happy to have had the day.

I hope Zizi, Aggie, and all ladies suffering with migraines and any other ailment have a good nights sleep tonight.

I enjoyed my relaxed 'me' day. I pottered around, had an early lunch and read my magazine, then went into the summerhouse and prepared some wooden blanks for pyrography designs. I made a bit of progress on a little project I had started nearly a year ago - but I'm not going to talk about it until December!! I also finally worked out a design for a wall hanging I'm making for the summerhouse, sketched it out and traced it onto the heart-shaped blank. Tomorrow I'm hoping to do the pyrography on it, and I might add some extras with acrylic paint - I'll see how it goes. Then OH came home and we went to the supermarket - the fridge was empty! It was either do it today with OH or have to do it myself tomorrow or Saturday when he's away. Bless him - he took my car for a jet wash. I didn't realise how dirty it was, and covered in Sahara sand as well!

Good morning all.

Well that’s a good start to the day. Silly cat needed to go out and ‘spend a penny ‘ so up I got and opened the cat flap for her. Decided while I was in the kitchen I would make a cup of tea, put kettle on and in shot cat through the flap in a panic causing me to spill the milk. Judging by past experiences I know that our neighbours cat must be sitting on the patio so our timid cat won’t do what she went out to do and if left she will make use of the carpet 😱. Off I went to don on dressing gown and slippers and fetch torch. I took the back door key off the hook where it proceeded to fling itself under the freezer. 😡.
Muttering a few words I then had to sort out the various spare keys we have to find the correct key for back door , spare key found and I went outside to see neighbours cat sitting on our bench as if it owned the place. As it’s too posh to jump over the fence I had to him escort out of the via the back gate.
Went back in, locked door , pushed cat out through the flap and went in search of broom so that I could reach under the freezer . I was on my hands and knees with torch in one hand , broom in another when cat wanted to come back in but I was blocking the entrance so she decided to howl which woke OH .
In the end managed to get key from under freezer, cat came back in , myself and OH went back to bed and it was then that I remembered I hadn’t made the flipping tea !
Might stay in bed today out of harms way

Good morning, Nanto. I don't really enjoy packing - unless it's guaranteed to be really hot I never know what to take - but it looks as though you're well organised. How long are you going for?

Mimi - what can I say! One sausage casseroles, crawling round creating an obstacle course for your poor scared kitty and making her howl, and then not even taking OH his morning cuppa. Best stay in bed - to keep you all safe!

Today the neighbours at the bottom of our garden are replacing a fence - there had been a row of conifers, taller than our houses, which they took down last year but they had pushed the fence over. So I woke up this morning to find the fence already removed, so not quite running round the garden wielding a broom, but I did go out in my dressing gown and fluffy pink bedsocks to make sure Eva didn't go exploring! OH is going up to DS1's this morning and then later on OH, DS1 and both GSs are going down to Cornwall (I think!) to watch some kind of test on a jet car tomorrow - I'm not really sure what the fuss is about, but I get 24 hrs control over the remote!!!

Must go and get shower etc in case I have to supervise Eva's trips to the garden!

Annual blood pressure medication review this morning. From there we will go to OH's friend who has a new router delivered but is scared to touch it
This evening is our friends Sapphire Wedding do.
In between I have some 'secretary' work for the committee I am on, and there is ironing. I'm hoping OH might do that though. She is so much better at it than I am

Well been a busy bee this morning ,
UP early did my housework , hovered and did ironing all before I got dressed
Had a quick shower then I decided to wash the sofa and chairs down , a bit of a story there ,

Last night we decided to have a Toffee Apple each that we had bought in Morrisons ,
Well the mess we were in
It was everywhere they are so sticky and the toffee drips , we both got it on the chairs and I even had it in my hair no idea how but I did , wiped it off the chairs but it didn't clean to good so that's how I ended up cleaning them today
Brian went out with the leaf Blower /sucky upper and got as many as the leaves he could up they still falling though ,
Waiting for the men to come and fit the new Flue no idea when they will arrive so just have to wait .

Got up late for me (8am), still feeling icky. Husband went to bed at 9 last night but because I had two hours sleep in the afternoon I couldn’t sleep. Trying to get everything straight but my body is on a go slow. Used a lot of tea towels when I was bleeding and have boiled them but I should have just chucked them in the first place as the marks are not coming out at all. I think I might go for a walk to see if I can wake my body up.

Havnt been on lately excuses on half term thread, cleaning getting some welly sticky fingers on leather suite and not mine Oma, OH hoovered bless him and I went round with damp cloth and jamas I was very attractive, I’m tired and a bit doolally like Mimi really , am I on planet earth hope so !!
