Good morning everyone. Oh dear, just when I think I've caught up - everything happens!

Congratulations on your Secretary-ship, Gem. Your GS1 is lovely!

Clover - poor you. That's sounds painful - both physically and in your pocket.

GM - go fot it - you're not just a Woman, you're Wonder Woman. x

Mimi - I wondered what the shock ripples passing through the country were - now I know it was your OH changing his mind! I'm sure he will look very smart. Every so often I designate some of my OH's clothes as 'scruffs' to be worn when doing wood turning - especially when it involved any kind of polish or varnish - and any messy job. My OH has a talent for making most jobs messy! But somehow he keeps finding these scruffs at the bottom of his overstuffed wardrobe - and wears them to go out. Yesterday he sneaked out an ancient, baggy green jumper to go shopping in.

Nice and sunny here today - for now. I'm going to clean the caravan out - I knew we should have done it on Sunday! And I need to spend at least half a day deciding what to pack for the week-end in Birmingham!!

      Good morning everyone.
A very rainy evening and night here, but the sun is shining now and it is calm.
GS2 is on his way. OH is around today, which means I can leave him with her this afternoon when I go for GD. No angry baby shouting at me from the back of the car because he;s bored sitting there, and some one to one time with my GD. Win Win situation

Have a good day everyone. I will be back later

Wishing you well today, Nana. I hope everything goes to plan for you. xx

The sun is doing its best today - just a couple of showers so far.

OH has gone round to a wood-turning buddy's house to turn wood (I suppose!) so Eva and I have the house to ourselves. She is still sleeping off the exertions of first night back at dog training classes. She's snoozing on the bed in my study, enjoying the sunshine. It's all right for some! I'm doing Forum stuff, washing bedding and gradually cleaning out the caravan! I think it's time I had a lunch break.

GS is sweetly sleeping He's teething again, bless him, but not suffering as badly as he did over the summer with those back teeth.

It's sunny and windy here, so we have white washing blowing on the line.

Sending all good wishes to Nana.

Lunch breaks are definitly needed Daisy !

Well I was up at 4.30am, couldn't get back to sleep after husband left for his shift because I kept thinking of all the things I had to do today. So did loads of emails for work, changed bed linen, flung the sucky uppy thing around a bit, designed a couple of posters for events I am doing, had a tetchy email exchange with someone who said I was ignoring him and I was out of order. Pointed out (and attached) seven emails sent to him asking him to respond for a report I am writing and three of those he has deleted without reading but now he wants something from me I am supposed to jump to attention! Funny how he did not respond eh?

So I also had a telephone conference (boring) and during that got a call from my sister who I was picking up from a flight from Florida. Went to get her and her family. She hadn't disclosed that she is covered in cuts and bruises due to a window shattering in the hurricane. What was she doing outside of the safe room? Getting a pack of tissues - in those circumstances wipe your bruddy nose in your sleeve love!

Back home and cup of tea for them before they drove back to Wales then, sadly, found out that one of our friends in Barbados has died. Husband says we should go to his funeral but I said he should go, I just don't think I can do a back to back eight hour journey without ending up in a heap.

So finished the work work I needed to do, had a bubbly bath, packed everything I need except make up for tomorrow. Husband is going to get crispy duck from Chinese take away for dinner then off to bed as we are up at 4am to be off to the airport for flight to Cyprus. Looking forward to it.

Ladies have a safe journey to Brum and have fun. Speak soon.

Nana - I hope you are ok, although I'm sure you will be feeling very tired.

Zizi - I'm sorry to hear about your friend in Barbados - I remember you were worried about him. Safe journey for tomorrow, and have a lovely relaxing holiday - and definitely no reading of emails from rude people!

Qwerty - no wonder the play area was quiet at those prices! You should get a discount for two little ones.
