Good morning everyone.

Oma - if I'd known I'd have sent GS1 to keep you company!!! He said he woke up at 4 o'clock and didn't go back to sleep!!!

I've had a niggly headache for the last few days - and it's starting to get to me - I don't "do" headaches!!! I can't decide whether it's the weather or tiredness brought on by grandchildren. Or both. It definitely isn't wine - I haven't had a drop for days. Perhaps that's the reason!

Nanto - Glad you got back to sleep ok. Yes, time does fly!

Enfys - I've only been to Loch Ness once, but Nessie must have been out doing her shopping or something - I didn't see her.

Nanto - the graphic is very suitable for us today. OH has got his wood turning buddies coming for a day of turning, chat, jokes and general madness. He's just gone off to the village to get pasties for lunch, so at least I haven't got to feed everyone. Plus of course, GS1 taking things apart in the summerhouse, it won't be a quiet day. Perhaps Eva and I will go for a long walk!

Plant - how lovely to have your GD staying - and a very good excuse to try out your new soup maker. Let us know what you make.

Thanks Gem. My internet connection is very slow this morning, and it showed 'working' so I tried again a few minutes later, and a third time! It drives me mad when it's like this. I'll be so glad when we can get high speed!!!

DS1 ran a test the other day, and we're losing up to 50% of our packets. No wonder it's frustrating. Next week when life is a bit saner, OH is going to do a lot of complaining.

Daisy, GD has only moved in from next door, she is very grateful to have her meal cooked for her. The only drawback is that she takes over the television control!

Hoping to try out my soup maker today but it will only be vegetable soup, bit frightened of it yet. Can't put it off any longer, I must clean the bathrooms today.

I hope all goes well with the hospital visit Oma, how long will B have to have top ups of bone marrow?

Well we back from Hospital and it all went ahead smoothly , the biopsy came back as a Viral infection possible caused by the many drugs he takes , wont give anything for it it will clear up on its own , its so wide spread it looks like measles or chicken pox but its not they tested for them too ,
Top up only took a couple of minutes just a small injection and it was done , may get a rash although how we would tell I'm not sure with this one or a upset stomach .

Daisy I think you're right about the headache.Tiredness and perhaps the responsibility of having the GC are probably taking their toll.Try to snatch a bit of me-time if you can.
We had a trip out to a retail park. Went to Dunelm and bought some pillows. My goodness,so many to choose from.A lot of them felt very similar but settled for some anti- allergy ones. They are probably for OH no he's not fussy.

Blimey,didn't realise it was ½ past 7. Been up for the 2 hours, had breakfast pottered about and got the dinner in slow cooker.
Anyway the sun is shining. Off to parents in an hour.
