Good Sunday morning Nanto and everyone.

Oh, Nanto - how I dread my OH going to a car boot sale! Even if he's selling he seems to come back with loads more stuff.

I've had an early start with OH going out so early - at least I got a cup of tea in bed! I think I'll have a quick shower and take Eva out before it gets warm and busy. I've already got one load of washing in, but I'm determined I'm going to do some things just for me today!

Plant - raspberries are great - they always seem to make babies giggly!

      Good morning!

Daisy I think brunch is an excellent invention too! Enjoy that relaxed day!

As I said in my Journal, last nights party was much nicer than I expected. The downside was quite a lot of standing about talking, some of it on uneven slopes, which by the end of the night gave me, back, knee, neck and eventually head pain! Once I got to bed and the painkillers finally kicked in (I stupidly forgot to take any with me) I got to sleep. This morning only one knee is painful, so that is progress

OH is now on the golf course, an early morning competition. I am having a lazy morning, breakfast and laptop in bed. I have put a washload on however, as the weather is good here. I will see my mum later. DD2 and family are going to her dads for a barbecue today so I won't see them. They are free tomorrow, and we have GS1, so I think we will all get together

Quiet evening yesterday, after the excitement of the birthday fun everyone went out their separate ways. I am ashamed to say I ate a piece of the chocolate cake, felt the pounds going on and dread to get on the scales today. Nothing planned today, not even dressed yet. I expect they will have a quiet day next door after the full house yesterday. Have fun everyone

It's been a beautiful day here. I was glad I went out early with Eva as it became quite warm. I've pottered round, done a few loads of washing - bedding and pillows from the spare room, because it was such a nice drying day. Then I turned everything out of the summerhouse and cleaned it. I'm only putting things back in their for my hobby bits and pieces, two garden chairs, and essential boxes etc for storage. The old light from the dining room, a picnic table, 2 sunloungers and other assorted bits and pieces will be left out in the cold - or in OH's general junk area! Most people call them garages!!!

Nanto - well done to your OH. You must have been really pleased.

Gem - I hope you're not doing to much today, give those aches and pains a chance to get better.

The trouble with doing some washing is, it's created some ironing. Boo, hiss! definitely not doing it tonight!!

I feel a relaxing glass of wine coming on. OH should be home soon and I'm only doing omelette and salad, so not hard! (It doesn't matter how you spell omelette, it doesn't look right! )

What a lovely day today, it's still really warm out in the garden.

we arrived home yesterday evening from our trip to Scotland. All went well until I had some sort of tummy bug for the last two days. Everyone else was fine so I guess I was just unlucky. I played safe and didn't eat for two days, didn't want to be ill on the coach coming home and was feeling much better this morning. Managed to get all the washing done and out on the line then just felt so tired so had a really lazy afternoon.

No no plans for the bank holiday, just enjoy the garden and potter . Have a good BH ladies

Enfys - welcome home. Poor you - having a tummy bug on holiday is no faun at all. I'm sure you're pleased to be home and feeling better.

Sorry to hear you had a tummy bug Enfys, hope you are feeling better now.

So so much for your relaxing day on your own Daisy

very hot here today, needed to seek the shade. Joined the family for a glass of bubbly before dinner, I gather I invited to a BBQ tomorrow.

Another lovely morning here, had a walk around the garden and it's really warm already. Have to confess, I have taken my cuppa back to bed ☕️

                            Good morning all

Oh, Enfys, that's not fair Glad to know you are well again now though! My cuppa would be in bed too, were in not GS day!

You were busy yesterday Daisy! Apart from doing mums shopping on the way to her, and hanging out one line of washing (OH did the second) I had a lazy day, aches all recovering well, thanks

I hope you had a good lunch yesterday Oma.

I hope Qwerty is having a lovely relaxing time in the sun!

Waiting for GS1 to arrive. I know not why both his parents are working on a Bank Holiday, as both work in offices, and are not self employed. I suspect SIl is really out walking or something.
We are going to DD2s this afternoon, as we haven't seen them for ages, due to holidays for them, then us. I doubt the baby will remember us! It is GS1's favourite place to go, so we will have no trouble getting him into the car! DD1 passes the end of DD2's lane to get home, so will pick up GS on her way. DD2 will give GS his tea

Gem - I did wonder why you were having GS1 today, but working life now is very different from our days as wage slaves. I'm sure he will have a wonderful time. Is he looking forward to starting school?

Plant - have a lovely barbecue - the weather is perfect for it.

I'm hoping to get OH to help me move some heavy pots round the garden this morning. I'm making the most of the good weather to get out there and tidy up a bit. Our back garden has taken the proverbial back seat to everything else this year and I don't want to leave it like that till next Spring. Tomorrow, we're back to normal GDs day - I'll go and pick them up in the morning. We need to think what to do for the last day with us for the holidays.

                              Have a lovely day, everyone.
