Oma did you have another bad night, hope you are not too tired today.

Its a lovely day here , we have been able to have lunch outside, we had jacket potato, yellow fin sole and salad. OH was hoping for pasta but as I've nothing to cook pasta in till my order arrives, jacket potato plus trimmings was all I could offer .

We have heard about my neighbour who was taken into hospital in the early hours of the morning last week, she had a stroke , her husband says it was a bad one, she can't speak or move any part of her body on her one side. She is only 35 , its so unfair .

Oh poor lady Mimi , she has age on her side she will be stronger than most hopefully and be able to regain some movement xxx

Mimi, that's so sad to have a stroke so young. I hope that prompt treatment will help her make as good a recovery as possible.

5 local tower blocks have been found to have the same cladding on that was on the flats in London , The council has already started today to take them away and said a investigation has started to find out how they were approved

Mimi, that's a very young age to have such a severe stroke.
Oma, i heard about the tower blocks having the cladding removed. Apparently there is a few up and down the country with the same cladding.

I need to mix some pastry this morning,to make some steak and onion pies for the freezer.Cooked the meat and onions yesterday in the slow cooker.
I can see a few spots of rain on the windows, maybe hubby will get the rain he needs to fill the water butts.
Need to go to the post office as well,but that is less than 5 minutes away.

Good. Morning Nan2 and all those to follow it's just before ten to seven up early for little ones barging in about half past seven, I won't be on for the rest of the day obviously nor tomorrow, it's raining here a bit depressing and supposed in for the week , hope all is ok with everyone will try and catch up tonight but I am usually knackered and in bed by 9pm listen to me I have not been up long and already wanting my bed ! Playgroup today I know I have an amazing social life 😏

Cleaned up downstairs,dinner prepared, having gammon today..Made ½ a dozen steak and onion pies,2 in the fridge for tommorow and 4 in the freezer.
Done my errand to the post office. Just had a dress delivered,so need to try that on.

She's fine thanks Nanto she has a collapsed disk and in a lot of pain , seen consultant yesterday she has to have a scan see what's happening but she's in good spirits just not very mobile xx

Good afternoon all. Its not raining here at the moment but I am not going to hold my breath.

I popped to Tesco earlier this morning and it was so quiet in there I had a choice of several check out points but I had to choose the one whose till would breakdown mid scanning ! Typical !

I then spent most of the morning talking to my neighbour , I swear she looks out for me coming up the hill.

How is your friend Oma A collapsed disk is very painful , can they do anything for her.

Nan2 you have been busy , you make my feeble attempt at cooking pasta for lunch seem very sad !

Its a long standing thing Mimi shes had lots of therapy's so think surgery may be next , its complicated as she's a large lady mostly from the waist down due to having Lymphedema in her legs , they are very very swollen and painful so her mobility is limited at the best of times and this is impacting on her spine , poor thing she's the sweetest person you could wish to meet and never complains bless her xx
