    Good afternoon ladies.
We have just got home from shopping in town and at one stage I was tempted to do this , as my poor feet were aching so much.
It wasn't a wasted journey as I found a nice gift pack of hand cream with nail file and some white cotton gloves ( to keep hands moisturised ) for my friend . It comes in a pretty gift pack .
Along with buying bamboo canes for my plants support in the garden I also brought the cat a packet of senior cat food to see if its better for her digestion as she seem to be struggling eating her normal food, poor old thing. I just got a small pack of food for now, you know what cats are like, they hate change.
Its no wonder I can't sleep at night when I look at my exciting purchases !

Libra , how is your poorly GD , hopefully you won't go down with it . I know how you feel about being sick, it feels me with dread also
Bring me sunshine in your smile.

Evening all hope all went well with app today Gem, hand products sound just the ticket nan2, LIbra hope Menna is feeling better.
We went on our weekly date today no kissing or anything just lunch and a look round a stately home near us called Nostell Priory no longer family
members living there a bit disappointing really £22 for the two of us and £4 to park the car, it was very dark inside I like to see the portraits on the wall and which ancestors they were lots of paintings not one single one was dated and no names, good job I recognised Oliver Cromwell and Thomas Moore. It was bitter cold
outside, too cold to walk round the grounds lunch was served in the Stables OH couldn't believe he had paid £ 20 to eat in the stables 🤔 but it got us out of the house.
Not likely to be on here tomorrow got my little cherubs so whatever your up to enjoy it I know I will !

I hope you find your friend feeling a bit better now she is on a break from chemo Mimi.
Libra, I hope M is better today and you don't succumb to the bug.

The meal last night was superb!!

One of our good friends (OHs best friend and one of the witnesses at our wedding) is driving me to this afternoons appointment. She said her mum may come too. Her mum is a lovely lady who makes us lovely teas when we visit them on their farm. It will be a nice girls trip out - with a bit of radiotherapy

Have a good day whatever you are doing.

Good morning everyone, and a special hello to Mr Sun - please dish out some warmth, I'm fed up with this cold weather. I was lucky yesterday with my long walk with Eva. We had just got back to the car and were sitting having a cuddle (always do this so she can sit quietly and watch the world go by, hopefully without wanting to go and mug everyone for a game) when the heavens opened - heavy, freezing cold rain. And we had a frost last night, so I was glad I'd tucked the melon plants up in the propagator overnight.

A quick trip for me to the hospital for a blood test (routine) then back for walkies with Eva then down to the allotment. I've got peas to plant out and potatoes that desperately need sowing. Everything's getting behind. But this week-end should see the building work finished, and hopefully the electrician will come one day next week to put the lights in. It means I'll have to take Eva to the monthly communal walk on my own on Saturday, but it will be good to get the messy jobs out of the way.

Qwerty - enjoy your busy day. Your date day idea is lovely, even if yesterday's was a bit of a let down.

Mimi - I'm sure your friend will be pleased with the gift, and also all the thought you've put into it.

Gem - I'm glad last night's meal was good. I'm glad you're getting some lovely days with family and friends - it must help with the radiotherapy sessions. Not long to go now. xx

LG - I hope M is better today - and you've escaped the bug. xx

Plant - I've been thinking about you missing your swimming sessions, and I was wondering if there's another pool nearby you could go to which might be easier than returning to the one you enjoyed with your dear friend.

Oma - did you get a doggy bag if the meal was too big? The spa bath sounds luxurious.

There is one but its her company I miss, it was something we had always done together. We made friends with two ladies during the time we swam and they still go, I sometimes meet them for coffee or lunch after they have had their swim. My friend was a bit younger than me and loved looking after me.

Your night away sounds very enjoyable Oma, spa bath sounds lovely.

Had little T brought round this morning, DD got her to the school gate where she promptly threw up all over the pavement. I took them back to theirs, damage limitation for hubs. So far we are okay. M was her usual self and busied herself with the guinea pigs, T went to bed for an hour. I blitzed their house from top to bottom ,so DD can have a relaxing weekend. She left for Devon at 4pm, interview tomorrow. Those shortlisted will be invited to stay for the afternoon and do role play?.Got everything crossed for her, she flew in to finish packing her case" pick up her new suit. Luckily I asked where are your heels, she would of forgotten them. SIL is home to have girls tomorrow. Fingers crossed DD doesn't. Suddenly feel unwell with the lurgy.

I hope your DD stays clear of it, Libra and you and your OH too. Good luck to her for the interview.

I had so many laughs with our friend and her mum today, my tummy muscles began to ache on the way home
