I wondered where you were Clover, I'm glad it was only the internet and no one poorly!

I feel really tired. They warned us tiredness could kick in during the 2nd or 3rd week of treatment .I felt tired after yesterdays, so I'm lucky have stayed clear up in until this late in my treatment . I'd love to rest this afternoon, but have told my mum I will go over. Luckily tomorrow is a completely free day, so if I want to do nothing I can

Bet you can't guess what I have been doing most of the day

I have been digging up all the wallflowers as they had become long and scraggly ,OH chopped them up into small pieces and put them for recycling . That's the boarders in the front and back garden tidy now, all ready for the summer bedding plants in a few weeks time when all fear of frost has passed.

I had a lovely day with my friend yesterday, she loved her gift I got for her. Apart from the fact she has no hair now she looked really well but she said she never knows from one day to another how she is going to be and the feeling of nausea never goes away . Her wig she has is lovely, they are so much better now than the one other my friend had but that was 20 years ago and yes she is still with us, hair regrown looking very healthy I am pleased to say so that gives us hope.

Nanto I will go have and have look at your update now x

Ladies I speak to Zizi sporadically on messenger, keeping busy and still coming to terms with recent events.

Nan2, I'm lucky it didn't kick in until now, as I am almost finished. I have 3 day break now, then my final treatment on Tuesday.

Libra, I'm glad you and Plant are in touch with Zizi, and I hope she is soon feeling better and posting again. She is missed!

Mimi, I'm glad your friend is feeling well at the moment. I'm sure your visit and gift cheered her up A friend of mine who had chemo several year ago had a selection of wigs! She enjoyed experimenting with different colours and styles.

We are going out for the meal with our friends now, see you later!

Good morning all, feeling better apart from cough. Just think I over did things at DD's house on Thursday. Been up since silly o clock as couldn't seem to sleep, decided to strip our bed and get it in washer as rain forecast tomorrow . Nothing planned for today except for a little ironing. Hope you all have a good weekend.

Well we have had a eventful night , yesterday my neighbour who has mental health issues was acting very strange again , that always means she's stopped taking her meds , she was driving in and out of the street taking pictures out of her car window of us and our neighbours on the other side of her , During night she was in her back garden shouting over the fence to neighbours dog punching the fence etc , our neighbours are elderly and very quiet , as it happened they had there Grandson and wife staying so he asked her to be quite , her response was to offer to fight him 😲
Phone rang at 6 she had kicked off again neighbour wanted me to ring her Mam but her mother has changed her number so had to ring Emergency care team , we went out for bread came back to two riot vans and 8 police , mental health team had rang her and she threatened to burn house Down with her and her 16 yr old daughter in it , Her mother just turned up and police are going so no idea what is going to happen now , most likely another hospital stay for her . Poor old people next door are terrified , she really needs her car keys taken away at least till she's well again that worries us , hopefully the police have warned her against driving

Very difficult situation, upsetting for her neighbours. How old do you think she is?
What is life if full of care we have no time to stand and stare

She's 42 Plant , when she's taking her meds she's a good quiet neighbour , doesn't keep her property very clean and the outside looks awful but never any trouble so we can live with that , She has rented this property as it belongs to the council we are half private halve council in our little cul de sack so I'm surprised she hasn't been told to tidy it up but I suppose unless she does damage the council are not too bothered and the way she is maybe they give her space .
As the police have been I think they have to inform the council so maybe she may get some encouragement there too ,
The trouble with her is she thinks she's well so stops her meds and doesn't recognise when she needs to take them again

Eventful night Oma, poor lady. Perhaps they will have to section her for her own safety. Very upsetting for your elderly neighbours I should think. Just heard from my eldest sister our step brother has passed away. 😧 He had lived in Somerset for 60 years and me and middle sister weren't close to him, but eldest kept in contact and visited a couple of times a year. He was 87 and had been unwell for a while. He has a wife and a son and Daughter, although DD lives in France so it all fell on Sons shoulders. End of an era as both step brothers and 1 step sister have passed now.

                              Hello everyone.

Oma, how very sad for the lady and her young daughter, and how upsetting for all the neighbours, especially the elderly couple

We had a nice night out with friends last night. A meal out then back to theirs for coffee. Have any of you ever left your socks in a restaurant?? I did I was hot, so surreptitiously managed to remove my shoes and socks under the table and put my shoes back on, meaning to find or ask OH to find my socks before we left. I forgot. At our friends house I settled back on their reclining sofa, feet up on the footrest, and saw my bare feet inside my shoes I am too embarrassed to go back and say I left my socks under the table, so goodbye socks!!

A most welcome nothing-to-do day today. I can stay at home and not wear a bra, which are now all tight on the left side. I did some housework this morning, and am now tired, so feet up. OH is tackling the ironing, but I intend to do nothing else

Gem Brian is howling at that 😂😂😂😂 enjoy your day , I have just done our ironing while watching Mr Tom never get tired of watching that movie 😊
Libra as you say a end of a era sad for his son having to do everything ,my condolences xxx
Well Social workers have been again but no Ambulance so I assume she's agreed to take her meds . Must be awful going through such turmoil but distressing for our elderly neighbours too , they now also have to pay for a new fence panel as she's broken it and the post is almost out of the ground where she tried to climb into their garden , something she's never done before . Life is never easy is it
