I'm sorry about some posts needing to be approved, but I don't understand why either. Thank you to all the Mods for spotting them and approving them. It will get sorted out at some stage.

Sometimes I forget to like posts, but that doesn't mean I don't like them.
Good morning!
It was terribly wet here all day yesterday too.
No firm plans today, but lots to do. One of those days to make list and cross things off
Colour hair, get dollars, prepare spare room, check in online, etc etc! OH is going to Huddersfield later today with her friend to watch a football match, so it will be tea for one here tonight, and control of the TV.
Have a good day whatever you do!

As I have been up since stupid o'clock I have taken down the shower curtain and washed it. OH took the shower head down and gave it a good clean and then I cleaned the bathroom and put up a new shower curtain. I have done three loads of washing , sown some dwarf sunflower seeds , and some coleus seeds. While I was outside at the back the parcel delivery man came to the front door and rang the bell . As I had heard him, I nipped round the side of the flat and spoke to the man and he handed me the parcel just as OH was about to open the door. Now this is when we turned into 6 year olds, he said, " Quick, someone is coming ,run " . He ran to his van and I ran back around the side of the flat. I could hear OH moaning about kids mucking about
I now need to go and calm down, all this housework and mucking about is taking its toll !
Hahaha Mimi I can just picture it 😂😂😂 nice way to start the day a good laugh , and a busy start for you too
Not much to do today went to Tesco and called in a couple of garages hubby looking for new car ,bores the life out of me so I sort of trailed behind like a sulky teenager , no idea what he looked at I just sort of grunted in the right places when he talked about them 😊
going to surf the net now see if I can find some lemon bedding I fancy that in my spare room , have duck egg at the minute and bored with it ,.
I have coloured away my greys, done a Tesco order for all the cat food needed whilst we are away and a few treats for the cat sitters. Next I will get the spare room ready for the catsitters. I went to check in online, but it can't be done until 24 hours before the flight. I was too hasty!
Oh, we have booked the Mothers Day meal too at the village pub.

I have just gone through all the summer clothes from the loft and chosen some to go to the ironing fairy tomorrow. I have also put some in the charity shop bag along with other bits and pieces. We will drop them off tomorow on our way to see Ben. This time next week we will be in the air on our way to the warmth. It is apparently about 75 degrees over there. Suits me down to the ground. In the meantime I have a busy week although the meeting in Liverpool is definitely going to be called in now as the station is still closed. So that does give me a bit of time. Then I have another charity meeting and the a student site tour at our Barts square site(s) in Westminster. Someone wanted me to go to a meeting at 4pm in KIngs Cross but I resisted the temptation! I want to be at home as early as possible that day so we can have a little glass or two of fizz as we will officially be on holiday at 5pm.........
