I have come in from the garden (where I was reading that book Enfys recommended!) as there is a breeze and it is becoming overcast and cooler now. It was lovely out there earlier though and all the towels have dried on the line!

Thanks Oma and Clover, I'm sure I will be fine, if it goes OK tomorrow I think I will relax for the rest of the treatment!

Hope it goes well tomorrow Gem, good luck.

nice kitchen LG, are you staying there now or still thinking of moving?

Had a lovely day today. This morning went to a holiday show in town, it was lovely to sea the beach full of people and the pleasure gardens too. Came home with loads of brochures even though I said before we went that Iwouldn't . Then over to DD's for coffee this afternoon.

it was lovely sitting in the garden but I felt like a grumpy granny when the (large) family at the side and back of us, about three houses away, started with their usual Sunday noise. I don't know why they never just talk to each other, they have to shout so of course the children do too. I think mum and Dad were having a row about who did most with the children, mum was winning! I'm just so pleased they're not right next door, at least we can block it out a bit. I love hearing children play in the garden, but it's the screaming I don't like. Moan over!!!

Still undecided Enfys, but either way we will not stay here, our garden is becoming too much like hard work. Plus I want a level garden rather than tiers. Anything we do will add value.

Libra you have almost exactly the same kitchen as my DI! You both obviously have great taste.
Libra one of the reasons for us moving was the size of the garden in our previous home, the back garden was huge and the front was ugly and cold. It was an odd shape that just looked out on to a car park. Where we are now is lovely. The front garden is almost all lawn and the back is patio with a small lawn . Much better for myself and OH to keep on top of.

What at a beautiful day it was yesterday? Easter speaks of rain...no surprise there then
Not sure if we are going to the garden centre today or tomorrow, it depends on how OH feels. If we go tomorrow it's double points on my garden centre club card . As a well known supermarket says....Every little helps.
          Have a lovely day x

Over to Leeds for 10.12 radiotherapy treatment, then collecting GS1 on the way home to have him for the rest of the day.
            Talk to you all later!

Thinking of you Gemini, hope all goes well

I will join you in the grumpy granny club Enfys. We have a new family at the back of us and yesterday I was sitting in my sun room trying to read and the noise was deafening, the children spent the whole afternoon screaming and the adults shouting, I love to hear children laughing but cant cope with screaming.

Morning ladies been to MIL,s helped change the bed , she's 83 on Sunday and does all her own shopping , cleaning , windows etc but finds bedding a bit to heavy , SIL usually does beds but she had a bad shoulder this week so couldn't manage , SIL finally talked MIL into having a gardener to cut her lawns and weed the boarders , after a bit of a fight she gave in , he came last week and did a good job so now she's decided he can come once a month , she doesn't give in easy so must be pleased with him 😊
Hope Gem has done ok been thinking about her all morning

A pile of ironing now awaits my attention but it might have to wait a bit longer.

Thanks everyone for the good thoughts
It went fine. I told them I had a problem holding my breath for 25 seconds as I have a slight cold. She got me to try and then we decided that I would just do more bouts of 20 seconds, so all was good. It took a very long time being the first one and I am covered in pen marks. I will get into the shower when GS goes home! It was a good job it was school holidays and SIL had taken the morning off to be with GS. As if it was term time I thought I would have had plenty of time to get back for preschool leaving at 11.45, but we weren't at theirs until half an hour later, so all's well that ends well!
GS has just had a Playbath here, something he requests from time to time. Getting him to get any clothes back on will be the issue now
