It's a bit late in the day for me to say 'good morning'. I did try this morning but the internet was so slow I gave up! Hopefully it will be better next week when the children go back to school and there is less demand in our road. Oh the joys of living out in the sticks surrounded by National Park and SSSI, meaning our lines are ancient, aluminium, and need permission from the Queen, the Prime Minister and downwards to be updated!
What a lot of busy bees we've been. We did the trudge round the supermarket today, plus a few bits and pieces from the pet shop and garden centre. Who knew you could buy plant labels that were too shiny to write on with anything other than a permanent marker!
LG - do you have more fun planning the dog's meals than your own - I think I do. We started a training exercise in class last week which is supposed to help your dog keep an eye on your body language and follow you. Eva is enjoying the treats when we practise, but seems to think because we're in the garden she should be offering me a tennis ball to throw! I use dried liver and don't know what I'd do without it!!!
Oma - I'm glad you feel better. Did you find out what caused it?
Clover - how lovely having a meal ready to eat with hardly any effort.
Plant - you've earned your sit down, and your G&T today. Busy girl.
Off to cook dinner - at least the fridge's full, so shouldn't be too hard to decide what to do tonight.

And another late Good Morning here too
I did dash briefly onto the forum this morning, but didn't make it to the chat room.
We had the hairdresser here at 9am, then DD2 came at 10 to take me to Leeds. I had my treatment then she dropped me off in town to meet my friend for lunch. After a nice lunch and lovely long natter I caught the bus home, and am now catching up here.
Lovely to spend some time with DD and no little ones (at their other Grans today) but a bit sad too, as her best friends mum died last night
Oma, I'm glad to hear you are feeling much better.
Libra, you just need a rest after your GD day yesterday
Enjoy the G &T Plant , I may have one later.
Daisy, playing -up internet is a pain!
I hope you plants are cosy Mimi!
Clover, shepherds pie is one of my favourites, and I make a good one if I say so myself!

Had a phone call from the hospital today saying my apptment for the injections to help my old bones from deteriorating much more has to be postponed because my D reading was very low so I will need a course of vitamin D tablets to raise it before they start the injections. I should hear from my surgery next week to pick up a prescription, she also confirmed that I do have osteoporosis mainly in my hips and back Yet another tablet to take. What is life if full of care we have no time to stand and stare

What's that rattling I an hear ? It's OK, it's just Plant making a cup of tea , those tablets you take are beginning to make a noise plant 😉.Joking aside Plant I hope you can start your injections soon x
I think I am going to need some sort of therapy....I have been picturing what the bedroom would be like if I redecorated it, as if I haven't got enough to do !
Hoping to pull up the wallflowers from the top garden boarder this morning. They are now past their best and I could tidy it up ready for some summer bedding plants (? not sure what summer is , I heard a rumour that it can be quite nice when it eventually arrives)
I also have to press OH suit for the christening tomorrow, if you remember it's the second attempt at it. GS went down with chicken pox and it had to be cancelled.
Have a restful day everyone and fingers crossed we don't get all this nasty cold weather the weather forecasters keep banging on about!Bring me sunshine in your smile.

Morning ladies , Nanto enjoy your shopping .
Mimi I was just saying to hubby this morning I was going to put my winter coat away but snow for cast for next week 😲.
Just taken the planters back to B&Q now after I have been on hear I'm tackling the cupboard under the stairs , We have large shelves in there and the rubbish that we hoard is stupid , there are things in that we never use or likely to use , B putting a new light in its a flush against the ceiling kind as the one we have in now dangles and constantly getting knocked as it's a low ceiling in there . Plus it's dull . Have a good day ladies xxx

Good morning, ladies (well, afternoon really!)
Nanto - I bet your shopping is all done now - I hope you got what you wanted.
Plant - it's frustrating when you have to postpone treatments for any reason, but best to be in prime condition before starting the injections! If those tablets are keeping you that young, could I have some please?
Oma - don't put your winter coat away, woman! You'll blight the whole summer if you do. Our cupboard under the stairs is one of the better bits of our house! Mainly because I never get round to putting the ironing board and sucky up thingy into it.
Mimi - you really do need to go and lie down in a darkened room until the urge to decorate wears off! Tut, tut, it might be infectious. I do hope the Christening goes smoothly tomorrow. x
We were deciding what to do (or not do today) when the doorbell rang. It was the new plasterer, saying he'd got a free morning and could start the prep for skimming the kitchen and dining room ceiling if we wanted! Yeah!!!! So the kitchen is out of action. I may not be able to cook a meal tonight. Hehehe.

GRAB HIM WHILE YOU CAN DAISY
Well cupboard finished , firstly he emptied the whole contents onto my living room floor , sofa , chair etc . Then started to cut plasterboard ceiling in cupboard to get the square light fitting in , Dust and plasterboard all over , I cleaned that up gave the shelves a wash and scrub scuff marks off the walls ready for stuff to go back in , then he decided the small drinks fridge we have on a shelf in there would be better on the floor but would have to cut a section of the shelf out and build a support at the cut end of the shelf
So out came the Jigsaw, hammer and nails, and more dust flying around .
Now as this cupboard is in my sitting room the dust has settled on my tables etc that I cleaned last night so another job to re do .
He stopped for lunch and we looked like Stig of the dump eating lunch surrounded by rubbish
We have been ruthless and filled two black bin bags with all sorts , looks nice and neat now but for how long I have no idea as he just opens the door throws things in and says I will put that away properly later , well that never happens does it
He had a good moan about my 8x100 napkins taking up room but I just gave him a look and said if he came to Ikea more often I wouldn't have to buy them in bulk !!! he shut up quickly hahaha.

Good afternoon everyone.
Plant, my how glamorous you look If there is any sunshine get yourself into it when you can. Vitamin D is provided by sunlight as well as supplements.
Poor B, Oma, how he suffers with those flippin' napkins from Ikea!!!
Mimi, all fingers crossed for the christening going on tomorrow and it being a lovely day for you all
I think a meal out is called for tonight Daisy, due to the kitchen being out of action!
I hope you had some good shopping time in Wakefield Nan2.
I had a 10am session in Leeds this morning. We stopped for tea and scones on the way back, then went to B&Q and the designer outlet, quick trips to both.
We are calling in to see local friends this afternoon for a coffee and catch up.“A grandchild fills a space in your heart that you never knew was empty.” – Unknown
