Oma Brian has been through so, so much the last few years and although frail at the moment, Im sure after a few months of his body welcoming the new bone marrow your TLC and support he will gain weight and be back to being your Brian. Sounds like your little GD needs a volume switch like T, I kept telling her use your little voice please. DD laid on 2 very impressive spreads today, we had champers first, then moved on to Prosecco . Eldest DD doesnt drink or very rarely unlike youngest DD who is her Mothers Daughter lol.Tomorrow will be a chill out day, no big meal just nibbles. Out again Thursday for T's 7th Birthday family meal, NYE at sisters, ugh food food and more food. Back on the SW plan after NY to lose those few pounds I no doubt have gained over Christmas in preparation for my holiday in March.

Good morning all.
I haven't spotted your lost post Oma!
I have enjoyed reading all your Boxing Day reports.
We had a very nice day. DD1, SIL and GS1 didn't come however, which was sad. SIL was sick all day, DDs tummy was a bit off, so they decided not to risk it. Fingers crossed GS hasn't gone down with it overnight.
Its bright and sunny here. OH will be playing golf later. I am going over to DD2s for a while. Apart from that it is chilling out in front of the TV day“A grandchild fills a space in your heart that you never knew was empty.” – Unknown

Lovely day spent with lots of friends and family, DS had cooked 7 curries and we all dived in, he is an amazing cook. They fetched me about 1.00 p.m. and their friends and family started to arrive about 3.00. We left in a taxi around 6.00 and played some silly games and more eating. Guess who has a bit of an upset tummy today?
Reading your messages, apart from some poorly ones you have all had a fun Christmas, even B was able to join in the family festivities.
What is life if full of care we have no time to stand and stare

I hope your tummy soon settles down Plant. All the festive goodies can to tough on our digestions!
I am going to DD2s for lunch today. I suspect it will be buffet style so I can just eat what I want (which isn't a lot!)“A grandchild fills a space in your heart that you never knew was empty.” – Unknown

Good morning all.
There seems to be a tummy bug going around Plant, a lot of my Facebook friends have gone down with it. I suppose at this time of year we mix with more people than we would normally . If you think about shopping , eating in packed restaurants and not forgetting our DG and all their bugs that they pass on from school ....lovely
Hope every one gets better soon.
Zizi, your neighbours boyfriend sounds like my eldest DS , he would find it hard to mix in company.
Christmas came and went in a flash but we do have Christmas part two on Friday. All the family are going to be squeezed into our small flat on that day. DD will be giving and receiving her Christmas presents then so I still had presents stacked under my Christmas tree. Its a good job I'm not like my friends DD, she has taken down all her decs, tree and cards. It looks like Christmas never happened in her house, but I suppose if she must insist on putting them up in mid November its no wonder she is glad to see the back of them .!Bring me sunshine in your smile.

Mimi he is a strapping looking chap but I know from both past and current experience that what you look like counts for nothing in these situations. Neighbour wanted to make him come as we had catered for him but I felt there was no point, he would only have been agitated and worried.
We had the family Christmas here today. We made a big buffet but unfortunately they were all quite hung over and although they did eat quite a bit they did not eat the way they usually do. The children grazed on their normal food. Little sausages, cucumber and carrot sticks, mini quiches, chicken "lollipops'", fruit etc. Husband made a lovely chocolate cake with raspberry topping which went down well. Everybody came around 11 and went around 2.30 Ish which was good as I was exhausted. All of the children loved their presents. Sadie got a girlie looking karaoke machine which she and Ben sang songs to for us for the entire time (I thought it needed batteries which I did not supply but it actually works from iPad or phone, damn!); Ben got a telescope which again works from a computer, iPad or phone but he couldn't use it at ours because it requires setting up which, according to the instructions, is not easy! Joe had a drone which he was absolutely delighted with and declared the best Christmas present he has had. He did fly it indoors which husband and I discussed we didn't want to happen. I was worried it would get caught up in the light fitting which is a sort of multi coloured stone small chandelier and cost a small fortune. I might post a picture tomorrow of the light fitting to demonstrate, the light is not good enough to do a picture now. I was worried if the drone got caught up it would destroy one or both objects neither of which were cheap.
Tomorrow we are not doing anything at all so will get up when we wake up (that means I will wake up at 5am) and day after we are going to be going to look at new furniture for the sitting room. 31st we will have a normal dinner as he is on an early the next day. 1st we will have our nice NYE dinner with fizz as husband is on a late on the 2nd (which we hope someone will swap with him) so doesn't have to get up early. If you want to go fast go alone, if you want to go far go together

Good morning everyone. Cold and frosty here. The sickness bug is raging around our extended family. 8 victims so far, the latest being my OH. We had nothing much planned for today, so will probably stick close to home.
Keep warm and well everyone!“A grandchild fills a space in your heart that you never knew was empty.” – Unknown
