Oh well done M. I bet his partner ( and everyone else) is relieved. Sending best wishes for a speedy recovery.
Daisy I 'm glad you survived the GSs! Better to be boisterous than moody but trying nonetheless just in a different way.
Mimi, the local cats are the bane of my life using my garden as a toilet. I put a Super soaker to good use if I catch then in the act but they never seem to learn. The cat next door is left out overnight so I can't do anything about it then

Oma, I hope all is well with M. A worrying time for the family I know while waiting. Thanks for updating us and I hope his recovery is a smooth one x
I have the new laptop now, so just have to get used to it, and to Windows 10!“A grandchild fills a space in your heart that you never knew was empty.” – Unknown

What a strong man M is Oma. I bet you're all relieved he's out of surgery & he's ok. My best wishes for a speedy recovery.
Mimi, your posts make me smile. Do you know that you can get head torches now? OH wears one when he takes the dog a walk & it's dark. My little GS has one too as he likes to go with GD on his walks when he comes over."Good friends help you to find important things when you have lost them....your smile, your hope, and your courage."

Good morning.
Oma, What fun lives we lead, we are going to the hospital too! OHs turn this time.
I hope things go well for M today.
Nan2, sorry to hear you had another bad night. Thinking of you with your appointment today, and sending all good wishes.
This afternoon I am taking my mum to see her oldest friend. They haven't met up since before Christmas, due to their chauffeur (me) being out of action. Mum will come back here and have tea with us.“A grandchild fills a space in your heart that you never knew was empty.” – Unknown

Good morning everyone. Nanto - I will personally come round and sing lullabies to you tonight. That will make you fall asleep just to get away from the 'orrible noise!
Good luck for all the hospital visits - I hope they all go well.
Oma - thank goodness M has come through his op. Sending him very best wishes for a speedy recovery - as one of our two GransRus pin-ups he can't be out of action for too long. xx Don't overdo the painting - take time out for nana naps. xx
LG - how is your cold? I hope it's not spoiling your holiday. My OH has serious man flu (actually, he is quite poorly with it) and has been coughing and sneezing all night.
Gem - I'm sure your mum is looking forward to seeing her friend.
Tomorrow we've got friends coming for lunch, so today I need to rebuild the house after all the grandchildren and dogs being here and get some preparation done. I'm doing parsnip and apple soup, baked salmon with new potatoes and veggies. Not sure about a pud yet though. Probably a light chocolate mousse which is quite easy, but I have got an apple pie in the freezer if I run out of time. I thought the choc mousse would be lighter though. We don't see two of these friends very often, but it's lovely when we do all meet up.
It's a bit misty here, but the sun is trying to break though so I'm hoping it dries up a bit. Ideally I'd like to get out and weed the front garden, but it's too wet and I have to get stuff done for tomorrow.
After our busy week, Eva is shattered. She didn't wake up until I stroked her this morning - usually she's up and wanting her morning cuddles as soon as she hears us stirring.

Daisy I hope your OH's man flu isn't as bad as my OH's. Its really knocked him for six. He's been really poorly & can't seem to shake it off. Into the second week now. Oma good news about M. I hope his recovery goes smoothly.
Hairdresser's later for me & bra fitting. Not all in the same shop 😂"Good friends help you to find important things when you have lost them....your smile, your hope, and your courage."

Daisy and Nana how are your OH's man flu?
Nana you made me chuckle, hairdresser and bra fitting in the same shop 😆
I have just spent an hour + out in the garden about 20mins of that was gardening, the rest was taken up with gossiping. It's amazing how the nice weather brings out the neighbours.
Bring me sunshine in your smile.

We have been to the hospital. All well with OHs bloods. She is being sent for a bone density scan, as it is 6 years since she had one. The drug she (and I) am on can take calcium from the bones, so it's good to check once in a while. They never expected her to be on it (or here, by implication) after 10 years on the drug!
I came back and booked another set of Disney fastpasses at midday.
I hope your OH soon feels better Daisy.
I am thinking about Nan2 and hoping all went well for her at the hospital. I don't know what time her appointment was.“A grandchild fills a space in your heart that you never knew was empty.” – Unknown
