Clover I'm on my way over save a scone for me please

    Will do Mimi.
My OHG has his Annual check-up in a couple of weeks and though it doesn't seem to bother him his BP is usually raised.

By the way to open the old "argument" do you pronounce it scone to rhyme with stone or scone to rhyme with gone?
I usually plump for scone as in stone.

Oma B is the Proff 's star pupil and so he should be!
Libra I hope you were careful moving that wardrobe. I bet you'r e glad you've done it now though.

In the North East we pronounce it Scone to rhyme with Gone Clover
Just had DD GS1 and Storm , GS1 needed some help with some homework and apparently only Granddad would know the answer (he did) , of course GS1 was starving so had to feed him and the dog sniffed out his treats ,
Libra looking forward to seeing the finished room

Scone to rhyme with gone here!

After 2 boys all day, and me with a cold and blocked nose, I'm glad to collapse now. OH's help has been invaluable. Actually both boys were really good despite the baby teething and having a cold, poor thing.

Me too Plant. Clover note Stone scone .......

Mimi I am being very careful re kitchen events. I know we have a very good case but I do not want to jeopardise any proceedings by mentioning the name of the company right now or individual events although I must admit I have done so before and I would love to write their name BIG everywhere which I will do eventually. I think they are very tech savvy and will pick up anything to use against us on social media so I am tying to be careful. I am quite stressed about it all to be honest. Silly really, we have the kitchen, we have the money to pay for the kitchen, I just don't want them to have my money at least not all of what the invoice is because they do not deserve it.

Scone rhymes with Stone for me as well. Butter first then jam. I don't eat cream, but if I did it would go on top of the jam! Clover - I bet you're feeling pleased now you have done that wretched cupboard!

Gem - I hope you're going to have a quiet evening and an early night. Even when our littlies are good they are still hard work. Thank goodness OH was there to help you.

Oma - pleased to hear B is making his consultant happy with his brilliant progress. How is his appetite now? I hope you really have taken it easy today, nag, nag, nag, nag ...... xx

Nanto - I like both the top and the skirt - what a lovely bright colour.

Mimi - the big burley biker is just that - but to confuse the picture a little he also drives a Mazda sports car - the one the stickers saying "no hairdresser's equipment is kept in this car" were made for! OH and I have known him for about 30 years and it was just by chance that we found out he was looking for an allotment. I just hope he's not disappointed in ours - he wants to grow things like purple carrots and it's nearly impossible to grow any sort of carrots there, and he's growing asparagus from seed - I hope we survive long enough to taste it. He's set up a fantastic water storage and irrigation system already, and we've just shared the purchase of a polytunnel. But he's been over the moon with the winter produce, so fingers crossed he enjoys it as much as I do.

LG - it was a good plan taking the dog out early. OH left it until this afternoon and it was pouring down. He was convinced Eva wouldn't enjoy it so they didn't go - extra long run tomorrow methinks!

Early night for me tonight - long day tomorrow.

Good morning all. Wide awake listening to the neighbours cat making a terrible noise outside and my cat replying with lots of hissing, I suppose I'd better get up and shoo the cat away, there will be no peace until I do.

Morning all well the sky is blue and the rain has passed, hooray for a dry day hopefully. Normal routine girly day for me. We did start the day with a chuckle though, hubby checked his e mails and there is one from the supplier we purchased our new kitchen vinyl from. It said delivery is 7th (today) between 12-6pm, unfortunately your delivery will not go through the letterbox, whoops looks like we need a bigger letterbox then .

Libra, how surprising that it won't go through your letter box!

I have yet to watch the final eposode of Appletree Yard!

Rain here all night, and the golf course is closed. OH and friends are meeting for coffee, as they can't play. They will probably talk about golf
I am going out for lunch with my lovely auntie. After I drop her home I will go to Boots opticians as I need some new prescription sunglasses before my holiday.

As I was up so early this morning I have done two loads of washing and they are now hanging on the rotary clothes airer blowing gently in the sunshine .
OH has just got back from the drs. He isn't all that happy with her, he had to suggest that he had a blood test as he was told at the hospital his GP will arrange to have one done every 6 months, its been over 12 mths now !. I asked him how was his blood pressure and he said she didn't take it . ! Unbelievable ! It was a compete waste of his time going .
