Nanto - welcome back. We've saved proper winter for you. xx
Oma - that's good news.
Mimi - funnily enough I'd logged in just now because I was worried about Zizi. I'm sure she will post when she can. Zizi - if you're reading this - you are missed. xxx
I had a lovely lunch with 4 friends, although the weather was atrocious, you couldn't see across the Solent and the car park was flooded when we came out! It's that time of year, I suppose, but several friends weren't well enough to join us, but hopefully next time they'll be there catching up on all the gossip.

Good news Oma x
glad you enjoyed your lunch Daisy.
Horrid day weather wise here, so we stayed in and I caught up with lots of jobs then had the afternoon on my own as DH had an appointment at the hospital. I was quite pleased to have a quiet day as I felt rotten yesterday. Horrible migraine, nausea and sickness, felt lousy but thankfully after a good nights sleep all ok today. It's blowing a gale here now so we've battened down the hatches for the night . Stay warm and safe everyone.

Enfys - it's the same here. The rain has been awful - and the Forest was flooding when I drove back from Barton. We were going to go supermarket shopping, but I didn't fancy driving through the floods in the dark!
Stay safe everyone - preferably warm and indoors."Joy is what happens to us when we allow ourselves to recognise how good things really are. "

Mimi - I don't think it can be an iron. Aren't they things that sit in the back of a cupboard covered in dust and cobwebs? I'm pretty sure I've got one somewhere but it doesn't dance about like that. As you say, Oma might know!

Hooray, Nan2 is back with her cheery early morning pictures
Welcome back!
Good morning everyone.
We have had snow, a very light dusting.
Today we are looking after GS2. I need OH here as I cant yet carry him up to his cot or lift him in and out of his highchair. DD isn't letting us collect GD from school (she thinks it will be too much for us!) but will leave work early, collect her and bring her back here for tea. In a way I am glad as although I love collecting her from school, now we have the baby it's hard to give her full attention once we are home as it is baby's teatime etc. With DD here I can leave the baby to her and spend time with GD. I have missed her.

Good morning Nanto and Gem. You're right, Nanto - soon back into the usual routine, but I'm sure you feel better for the holiday. Did your friends enjoy it - because I know it wasn't your first choice of destination.
Catching up on chores day for me today - well, I never actually catch up, but the intention is there.
Still not sure about that twirly thing Mimi!!!
Gem - I'm glad you've got OH at home today to help - as you say you can't be lifting GS2 in and out of chairs, cots etc. Take care playing with him too. It will do you good to be able to spend some time with GD this afternoon. xx
