Dull and drizzly here today, so library visit this morning and shopping for a few bits for our week away next week.

Another visit to the docs yesterday as my bp still isn't coming down. So another increase in the dose of one of my tablets, fingers crossed it works this time. If not, then it's different medication. I took mine at home just before I went to docs and it was really high, so I sat in the waiting room feeling I was going to explode, but by the time I got in there it had gone down slightly. There's no rhyme or reason!!

Dd and gD are off to New York on Thursday for a few days. Now they are worried about bomb scares etc. I told them that security will be ramped up now, but naturally am concerned for them. GD booked this trip as an early 50th birthday present for her Mum, all kept secret for ages bless her, and now this happens.

Morning all. I was woken this morning by an early phone call from my very excited GS. It's his 6th birthday today and he wanted to thank me for his Sheffield Wednesday football hoodie we brought him. It says on the front of it 'Me and my daddy support Sheffield Wednesday ' . He says he will wear it next time daddy takes him to a match. We will see him on Saturday so lots of cuddles then I predict,
Just having a coffee and then I am going to plant some spring bulbs in our ornamental garden wheelbarrow and empty the huge tub by the front door as it now looks a little on the scruffy side.

Because I've not been on here for a while I've just found the new Chatbox. I have 14 pages to read to be uo-to-date. I have to go to the hairdressers now so will catch up then. Well good news they have allowed my Nephew home no need to operate but told any pain again and not to wait get straight to hospital , still on antibiotics for next 3 weeks

Good news your nephew needs no operation Oma speedy recovery to him. I worked today and now have just 3 shifts to work before I finish on Friday 7th October. Had about 10 owners today saying please don't leave us, all the older faces are leaving us. So sweet made me a bit teary

Been gardening at new house today. There are so many hibiscus here. 9 in the front garden, 2 in the back.We keep moving them from one side of the front to the other, from that garden to the rented. There seem to be some in most gardens hereabouts....and Agapanthus, I keep trying to give them away.I will use them under the bay windows as it will save money. The builder is coming tonight to give us his estimate....everything crossed that it is acceptable.😁

Good morning all

today ay is our DD's and SIL 's silver wedding anniversary. I can't believe it, where have all those years gone? They didn't want a big party or anything like that so they are going out, just the two of them, for a nice meal. It's ages since they went out on their own so they can have a nice relaxing evening together.

We we are looking forward to our week away in a little cottage, I have a list of places to go etc, should be good.
