Great 'cheer you up' news Plant. Fingers crossed for Monday too. 😉
Bulbs now in, but I have to admit to shoving the last lot in in a careless fashion. It will be interesting to drive by next spring and see what came up. 😆

Plant, I can't tell you how happy your news makes me I hope your op goes as scheduled.

Well done on the bulb planting GM, ours are still in the bag.

My lovely auntie made us lunch when we were there. We refused last time, not wanting to make work fof her, but this time we accepted, as she knew we were calling in, and had prepared for it, so obviously wanted to do it.

                        Good morning ladies.

It rained hard here overnight, which was great for watering in the daffs I planted yesterday - still lots more to do though! OH and the friend who's sharing the allotment got another load of manure yesterday and spread that on the plot, so quite a useful outdoor day. And a great drying day - caught up with most of the washing. Then DS1 and the boys called in - DIL is away for the week-end so they walked Eva with me and I cooked dinner for everyone. A busy day, but quite productive.

The sun's shining again now, so I hope to get back into the garden and get the rest of the daffodils planted, cut the lawn and maybe do some weeding in the back garden.

Have a good day everyone. I'm going to catch up on here tonight - I didn't get the chance yesterday!

                          Good morning everyone.
I too intend to come back and catch up tonight!
It's my mums birthday tomorrow and although I will see her and take her out on the day, today is a family celebration. We are doing Sunday lunch for all the family (apart from DD3 and OH who are on holiday) She will get to see everyone, especially the 3 GGC. Roast pork etc, followed by bread and butter pudding, or strawberries, jelly and ice cream!
Off to make the bread and butter pudding. Have a good day everyone

Good morning all. We are just recovering from a very busy day yesterday.
DD, SIL and our two youngest GSs came to see us for the day . It was so nice to give youngest GS his bottle while mummy and daddy had their lunch in peace for a change and I got have lots of cuddles. Our other GS was more than happy to sit at the table with grandad , mummy and daddy and eat, and eat and eat, just how much can a 6 year old eat ?
When they left to go home we quickly got showered and changed and made our way to our DS and DILs house where they were holding a surprise get together for DILs dad's 60th birthday. So not only did I have chance for a catch up with a few friends I also got cuddles from our two eldest GC .
Today we are completely worn out, I love them all to bits but isn't it lovely when it's peaceful and quiet.
Bring me sunshine in your smile.

Another lovely day after heavy rain overnight. Had a lovely walk with the dog in the sun, got wet up to my knees as I threw a toy into the stream for him to retrieve, but lobbed it into the prickly bushes silly me. Caught up on the ironing, now settling down to read the papers and do the crosswords. Easy dinner tonight hubs is cooking sweet and sour chicken. We were meant to go out for lunch today, but I didn't feel like it so postponed until my first Sunday after R day.
