Morning. I just wondered if anyone else is awake? This blummin' cough has stopped me getting a wink of sleep. I always find it such a weird feeling when everyone else is asleep...OH & pooch that is & there's just me in the stillness and darkness.

Sorry to hear about family difficulties. Not easy being a mum eh? We do our best & that's all we can ever do. ❤

Good morning everyone. I don't like being the only one awake either! Nana I hope your cough is less troublesome tonight.

Plant, it was quite a hard frost, and pretty chilly de icing my car at 7.30 am. GD2 has a cold and I have promised she can use my iPad, hoping Dr Pandas virtual ice cream will keep her happy for a few minutes.

I've got into a bad habit of staying up til the early hours because I like the feeling that everyone else is asleep except for me! Freezing cold here but at least it is dry.

I went for my mammogram, then went to Marks and Spencer. I tried on a few coats, but they either didn't have my size, I didn't like them, or they didn't flatter me. I did however buy a dressing gown for OH. She has had hers since before we met, and is definitely in need of a new one. She will never get round to buying one, so Santa will bring her a lovely new one

Of to my friends for lunch soon. We met when we were young mums, at toddler group, now we are Grandmas!

Well I slept like a contented baby last night , didn't even get up to use the bathroom ,
Nan a cough is always worse at night isn't it . I'm used to being up half the night so it doesn't bother me at all I like the dark and quietness.
Well popped to our shopping centre this morning just a quick in and out I thought , well that didn't go to plan , we bumped into the world and his neighbour 😕 Everyone we know must have been out this morning , we no longer stopped chatting to one then we would bump into another we knew 😊
We had to go into Argos to click and collect , it was jam packed even the express pickup where we were collecting ours from the queue was out the door , people seemed to be buying a lot of Christmas toys early then someone said it was the 3 for 2 sale so that solved that puzzle , I went into the pound shop and the queue,s there were the same so we didn't bother just went to buy some bangles and came home .
Now I have to sit and remember the little German language I know and write OH,s aunt and cousins Christmas cards out , oh the joy . My head is aching when I'm finished 😀

Its blooming cold but not windy here, so my washing is hanging there doing nothing. Had a 2 hour brisk walk over the heath with Shiloh it always blows the cobwebs away. Its amazing how people congregate and chat when you have a pooch, I must say Good Morning to at least 10 people on my walks. Well, I had a small crisis yesterday- yes ladies my knob fell off ............... my slow cooker , now this is one machine that gets lots of use. So hubs scoured the net last night and found the sane one but in chrome, reduced to £20, good man. Clicked and collected from Argos this morning, phew sigh of relief. Girly day so off to do school run in a while. Unusually for me I had an awful night of broken sleep, had agonising cramp in my left foot and calf, boy did it hurt. If anyone knows a cure Id be grateful.

I get that cramp sometimes Libra in both calves and sometimes so bad that in the morning it feels like they are bruised! I would also like to know a cure.......
Oma go on iPad translation husband uses it a lot at work.

I I have had a busy morning trying to catch up on work before holidays, out tomorrow from 7ish until 3ish, then following day same, I am so disorganised this time and I cannot figure out why. Tomorrow I am dragging a coule of winter coats with me as the big stations are having "wrap up" which is where they collect coats for the homeless for the winter. I had both of them in the charity pile but I think they are warm enough to help someone on the streets,

Zizi - I'm sure someone will be very grateful to have your lovely warm coats for the winter. I can't think of many things worse than being homeless, especially in this weather.

Good morning.Snowing here, don't know what time it started,but it was snowing when i got up at 5.
For cramp, i was told to drink tonic water. because it contains quinine, but i don't think they recommend it now.

Good morning everyone.
I'm finding it hard to think of anything but the terrible result from across the pond.

We have to though, so - it snowed last night. Fortunately there is no covering here, just a light dusting on cars, hedges and rooftops. It is very wet.
This morning I will give OH some reflexology , this afternoon I will take my mum to her annual medication review.

I do have some good news. We have tenants for our rented house. Our first ( lovely and perfect!) tenant moved out at the end of September, and we feared we wouldn't find new tenants at this time of year.
