Nan2, I can imagine how frustrating it is having things dragging on like that.

WG, the neighbour over the road has a plentiful supply of plums from his tree. He always puts abox with the excess out for a day or 2, with an honesty box for the local hospice. OH noticed them out there yesterday, so I will look out for them today and buy a bowlful if they are there.

Hoping Omas OH is ok today, and Omas hospital headache has gone!

Usual Mum Thursday here. I'll do her shopping and visit her, then water her pots and basket and put her bin out before I leave. I will probably need to pop in tomorrow too, as we go away for a week on Saturday, and I need to get her prescription to her before I go. I doubt it will be ready today.

I can report that the sun is shinning here today so I am getting on with lots of washing. ( I would love to know who keeps filling up my laundry basket every time I turn my back )
Yesterday we went to the Black Country Museum . It was a nice sunny day and we got chatting to a lovely lady and her husband who came from Chester . We took a ride on a barge that had the same name as my dear dad so that was nice. We also sat in the pub having a drink while we waited for the fish and chip 'shop' to open . Back 100 years or so ago it was someone's house and to make ends meet the front room was turned into a fish and chip shop with the meals served out through the window to customers in the street. Even now we have to queue outside the house and when its your turn to be severed you step into the 'front room' to place your order. The 'shop' can only accommodate 2 people at a time. The chips are cooked in beef dripping ( unhealthy I know) but they taste wonderful. Its a healthy salad for us today !

We have had Josh to see MIL he came away with £10 so worth going he said hahaha ,then we called in Morrisons, s that boy isn't coming shopping with me again he cost me a fortune , Chicken and chips from the hot counter then a 6 bag of crisps then he wanted ice lollies but couldn't decide what box so ended up with both 😮,
His Gran & Grandad coming around for coffee at 2.30 a busy day 😊

Haven't got GS's grades yet, no reply from the house I expect they have gone out for lunch, just had a call from them, spoke to GS he is very pleased he got his first choice.
Aqua was interesting, the class was taken by a young male pilates teacher, a different kind of workout and a lovely relaxing end to the class.

Had a lovely tea at the golf club with my WI friends yesterday afternoon, we were entertained by a male singer with a lovely voice, we were there from 2pm. until 5pm

I have always wanted to go to the Black Country museum Mimi, just a bit far north for me but you never know.

Just been shopping with OH for new jeans..........say no more! Thought he'd have a look at shirts.........! We did get jeans so that's something!

A belated hello from me. I hope everyone's day has/is going well. Congrats to your GS Plant."O"levels next year in our family.
We've had a busy day. For our weekly "outing" we caught the bus down to Swansea Bay and then walked 2 and half miles along the front towards Mumbles. Weather was just right,warm sun and few clouds. We sat on a bench and ate the sandwiches I'd taken with us and watched the tide come in. Then as we were by Verd's ,the ice cream parlour, we thought it rude not to pop in and enjoy an ice cream sundae,chocolate for OH ,raspberry for me with juicy fresh raspberries.Yum.
Then walked back into Mumbles for a look in the shops. Then a bus into Swansea for a coffee in M and S and some essential shopping in Wilko before catching the bus home.We were just sitting down with a cup of tea when a deliveryfrom Amazon arrived.
I fear I will be asleep in front of the television this evening.

Thanks for asking ladies OH is feeling a little better meds are kicking in and we had a walk in the sunshine today nice and steady he looked better for that stopped the odd time for a breather ordered our foreign currency feel more in the zone of hols now , I could get used to this mode of relaxing at home 💅🏼
Oma caught up with Brian's problems hope all will turn out ok
Gem sounds like you had a lovely time at Haworth it's been a few good days you've had of late long may it continue , must admit I am ready for my break DD was breaking up she thought early today she doesn't work Fridays but said someone had decided to have a meeting at 4.30 her words were rhymes with prat has nothing better to do lol

Qwerty, my OHs 6 monthly oncology appointment is almost always cancelled and rescheduled, and this months is no different. She goes in September now. Glad your OH is a bit better.

DD3 came round after work to look for some photos of her and friend A (who just got married) for something she wants to make for her. She and I had great fun looking at old photos
