    Good morning.
As it's Monday it is GS1 day. Instead of bringing him here after preschool today we are going to his house. His parents are going to meet his teacher late afternoon about starting school in September. It seems no time since he was born!!!

I hope all goes smoothly at the hospital Oma.
Usual busy Monday for you Daisy!

    Have a good Monday everyone

Nice to hear from you Nana
Yeterday was the most amazing day we celebrated DD birthday as both are working today, we went to a Brazilian restaurant a strange affair but it was amazing you helped yourself to a warm or cold salad/ new potatoes etc then you sat at your table each of us had a disc it was red on one side and green on the other, they then came to your table with the meat talk about meat overload 😱 everything came on skewers you could have as much as you liked he kept coming round as long as your disc was on green, lamb, sausage,, rump , sirloin , skirt, fillet, garlic chicken, gammon, chilli chicken, chicken wrapped in bacon, garlic bread on skewers when you turned your disc over to red for stop they left you alone Omg what a meal.

Leeds is an amazing city not too much for tourists usual museums and such but it's a cosmopolitan city a big financial district lots of big businesses but I love that about it, we sat outside a beautiful hotel in the centre for coffee and had a good chat which we don't get chance they lead such busy lives

Qwerty that sounds amazing but your right meat overload
Hospital went great we have a whole month off his Neuts are a bit low but they didn't seem too worried ,
Its 15 month since he had shingles and still has terrible pain in his leg so the Dr prescribed Chilly cream , he said had several patients used it and found it gives great relief as it numbs the nerve ends , again a old fashioned remedy back in style .
Hope to see GS2 O tea time hes 9 today but spent the weekend at Cub camp DS said he had trouble getting him out of bed this morning bless him .

                      ' Morning all!

Good to know GS got over his naughtiness Oma I hope the cream works for your OH. Will you get a little holiday now he has a month free of hospital appointments?

Did you buy anything at JL, Plant?

That sounds a most unusual restaurant Qwerty!

Dull here with some rain forecast but no sign yet. Yesterday was so nice too!
Work for me late afternoon. I am down to one regular client now, my ex next door neighbour who I go to every 3 to 5 weeks, depending on his schedule. So you can say I am more or less retired! (apart from child care and mother care, of course!)

I have a couple of things to do today apart from work. I have tried to set up online banking with the Halifax. My savings account is with them. I move money across to my Barclays current account every so often. Now there is no branch of Halifax near us it is a pain to do it, so I decided to bit the bullet and sign up for online so I can just transfer it over. However, they phone you a code and the phone number they have is my old one, and there is no facility to change the phone number. So.... I will have to go over there to change my number in person and then come back and try again!!

Good morning ladies. I was AWOL yesterday because of stupid hay fever, I did have a quick peep as to what was going on here but I couldn't concentrate so I went had had a sulk instead but I can report that I have had a stern word with myself and hopefully I won't behave so silly next time !

Anyway onwards and upwards , how is everyone this morning?

Oma how has the shopping gone, did you get your cotton trousers or are you like me, go out for clothes and come back with something completely unrelated like a tea bag strainer ! I once went Christmas shopping for presents and all I came home with was a toothbrush. I travelled for over an hour to get to the shopping centre , spent about 4 hours there, travelled back and all I had to show for it was a flipping toothbrush !

Gem I have been doing online banking for well over 10 years now and I have never had any problems with it. OH won't have anything to do with it, he prefers to go to the local branch and deal with things face to face which is fine as long as we have a branch but as more and more are closing that option is slowly being taken away from customers.

Have a nice day everyone, hope that rain soon disappears

Bring me sunshine in your smile.

Mimi, I sympathise with the hayfever.I am suffering too, but probably not as badly as you are. It is miserable isn't it?!

                            Drizzling here now.
