GS1 had a fabulous afternoon, outside the whole time! Paddling pool and running under the sprinkler, playing playdough, with us, golf, bubbles, having both his meals outside. He has small garden at home with not much space to run about, so loves it when he is here or at DD2s.
I need a bigger paddling pool. If ever all 3 GC want to go in together they will barely fit in

I'm ok thanks Gem , I'm not good with too much heat , just a combination of stuff made me feel unwell , I'm hoping for a good night's sleep and I will be good again 😀
DD bought a huge round pool for all the football team to go in in her garden they have had a great time yesterday and today and the dog been jumping in with them ,
I think we all should have one , I know Libra has a big blow up pool 😊

A bit of a shock awakening this morning, bell rang at 7.00am, they had come to collect my car for a modification, I was told they were coming at 8.30. I was supposed to have had a message to let me know they were coming earlier than they arranged, still feel half asleep. The gentleman who collected my car has left his lovely BMW electric car here, it is just the right size for me, he says it only costs him £2 to charge the battery and it does have a small petrol engine. I had a test drive in one when they first came out but they are so expensive. Slept well, fan in bedroom and I put a flat sheet on the bed and took duvet off. I shall be watching tennis from Queens today as I am housebound and must do some serious watering this evening. Have a good day everyone

A lot cooler this morning. It was far too hot for the past 3 days, so slightly cooler is good. OH is debating whether to change from the shorts she has on for todays golf though!

I would be shocked to be woken by the doorbell at 7am as well Qwerty! My car is going in to have it's air conditioning reconditioned tomorrow, as it doesn't work at all now!

This morning I am seeing my Danish friend, the one I failed to turn up to meet last Tuesday She invited me to hers. Maybe thinking if I forget again she will at least be at home!!
After that I need to do some supermarket shopping, collect the bigger pool from Argo, and go to my mums's.

Morning ladies had a fairly ok night slept in fits and starts it was very sticky , I feel tired but ok today , going to B&M then Homebase as they next to each other to look at porch lights then pick Dog up , he was at Doggy day care yesterday so will sleep all today 😊
Gem you know what will happen when it takes forever to fill the pool , either it will rain or the children won't bother with it 😊
Qwerty hope the twins are not grumpy with the heat for you ,

Changed the bedding and cleaned the bedrooms early this morning.
Then decided to cut the grass while it is overcast.To be honest it had'nt grown much.
Anyway it's done now.

No cooler here if anything it is hotter. I was out with the dog by 9am, but everyone else had the same idea lol. Luckily there are 3 nice cold rivers for him to play in and cool down. Girlies today and M requested roast chicken phew!! To hot to be cooking a roast but hey ho. 4 more meals for my girls and then all over, as they finish at their school and off to Devon for their new life. keep cool those who dont like these extreme temps. I do have a large inflatable pool Oma and a lilo to lounge on, after I had finished with it yesterday Shiloh had great fun in it. But the little monkey kept nicking strawberries off the plants. Sorry to those whose Birthdays I missed and to the poorlies, hope your all feeling well soon. Seem to have been busy lately and not getting time to post as often.

Libra Devon is a lovely place, you could combine catching up on cuddles with a nice break. I also didn't realise it was so soon for the girls to be moving. Big hugs to you.

I am on the look out for a cool place to sit , outside , front and back is too hot, the sitting room is a no, no as the sun is pouring in through the windows even though I have the blinds down . I have to emphasize that I am not complaining about the weather , just the ability to get used to it in a short space of time.

Mimi its been a bit cooler hear today so I have coped fine , the dog has enjoyed the breeze too hes been sitting with his snout up in the air sniffing it .
Trouble is we don't get it gradually we either freezing or all out boiling , we cant adjust to it can we
