GS1 was a good boy, we went to the park then OH put up a tent in our garden and GS had his tea in it
However, he was a beast for SIL this morning and SIL had to wrestle his clothes onto him. He really plays his parents up, and can be so good at school etc.

Good morning Nan2 and everyone else.
Tuesday golf for OH, reflexology for me this morning. I may be looking after GS2 this afternoon. He and his sister are due to spend the afternoon with DDs friend and her 2 liitle girls. He was still not fully back on form yesterday, so DD asked if he could come to me if he's the same today, which of course is fine. Fingers crossed he will soon be his usual self.

Its only just past 10 and I have been out to post a card while the sun was shining and as soon as I stepped outside down came the rain . I got soaked. Is summer ever going to return ?
Anyway , enough of my moaning, Good morning all .
DD is going to FaceTime me later to let me know how baby GS got on with his 'nursery tester session ' . This is all in preparation for when DD goes back to work , can't believe that GS is 1 already , how that past year has flown by. Hopefully we are going to Cardiff to see her and our two GS's on Thursday . ( As we are going to Wales we will not hold our breath for a nice sunny day , it always rains when we go there )

Been a busy morning seemed to do lots and get no where ,
Popped to Morrisons for a few bits and B decided to get some of the 3 for £10 stuff from BBQ range , got to checkout and when we finished and walked away he said that seems a lot for what we got, but I had bought a Puzzle book for £2.50 . a Troll doll for GD at £5 and other bits and it all adds up ,
Anyway he insisted he looked through receipt , well the 3 for £10 hadn't gone through , took them to the desk and the girl said one item wasn't on the 3 deal , so off he went to check and although it was amongst the deal it wasn't actually on , so he came back insisted we give all 3 item back for a refund ,then we had to go back in and buy the 3 deal again all for the sake of £1.30
I could see his point though as it was misleading , they had them in amongst the yellow label saying 3 for £10 .

We then came home the bin man had been and next door ( The girl with the mental health problems) had put plastic bags next to the bin and it had burst and the bin man had left it all over the path and road , she was in but wont come out and do it so I had to set too with rubber gloves on and clear it all up , now I don't mind cleaning it up but she is only 38 not incapable but just doesn't care she would live in it if she had too

Baby GS is coming soon. He is a lot better but not really up to an afternoon out with boisterous girls! DD thinks he will be much happier having a quiet afternoon in with Grandma. I didnt think I wold see him for almost a month due to holidays, so it will be nice to have him

Door went around lunch time it was GS1 came to see us on his bike , he has no intentions of going home so staying for tea , lovely he does that now just pops in when he feels like it 😀

GS tester session was OK but DD was disappointed that the lady who was supposed to get all the forms ready for her to check over and run through the times that GS will be picked up in the mornings and brought back home wasn't there so she has to take him back next week where GS will stay for the morning rather than the hour that he had today. She said he did cry ( breaks my heart ) when she left him she wasn't surprised as he isn't used to being left alone with some one else.
Oma , what a day , it's not a very nice job clearing up your own rubbish let alone some one else's! We have a few lazy young ones around here who leave their bins out on the path for days after the bin men have been . We have a lovely 'unsaid ' system with the neighbours upstairs, after the bins have been emptied, whoever gets to bring their's back brings the other bin as well and puts them back in their allotted place . If only other people could be like that, it isn't hard. Last week we were woken up by some person/persons riding a black bin down the hill that had been left out for days after collection day.. The bin hasn't been seen since !

Nan2 Men !! Mine didn't notice that I had changed a pair of very pale cream bedroom curtains for a pair of very dark brown and blue curtains with blackout linings. This was when we were living in the house, the neighbours security lights were motion sensitive and they were forever flashing at night keeping us awake and we had actually discussed the idea of new curtains..... I don't like to repeat myself but...Men !!!

Mimi, I'm glad to report that baby GS is much more his normal self today DD thought he would need a nap this afternoon, and he went down easily, and slept for an hour. However he woke up very grumpy (which is unusual) and didn't want his tea. A dose of Calpol and Peppa Pig where he could see it from the highchair did the trick and he ate a good tea. I'm sure he will have grown a lot and be running when I see him after theirs and our holidays!

Oma, it must be nice that GS can just turn up like that.

Turned up and decided to stay not just for tea but for the night , so his Bike is in our dinning room SIL arrived with a bag with his PJ's and computer games and a change of clothes ,hes now tucking into a KFC
Gem he's only been away a week and I'm sure he has grown 2 inches or more too, he seems a lot taller

Morning all.

Dentist for me this afternoon, nothing much planned apart from that. I think I will re make the bed in the spare room ready for the next catsitting stint, as no GC are due to stay here in the next couple of weeks.
I will do some ironing too, as OH is playing golf and I have no excuse not to (I tend to leave most of it to her!)

Good morning ladies.
Gloomy and not too promising at the moment.
Gas man is here to service the boiler etc.and I've had to switch the light on for him to see.
Later I must get on with some cooking.DD and family are coming for a few days next week and I like to have a couple of things ready prepared in the freezer so that I can make the most of my time with them.Good job it's not too nice outside as I'd be tempted to be in the garden.
Oma don't those birds make a mess! At least if they're chucking out the mess it's not clogging up the gutter completely.Talking of birds they also make a mess when they're searching through the edge of the borders and tossing soil etc.on to the path.That said I wouldn't be without them.
