Qwerty you have got exactly the same tiles as my friend ! It looks lovely. I would love a new kitchen but apart from the expense I don't think I could put up with the hassle of it all at the moment .With DS still with us we are a little cramped, you even have to go outside to change your mind .
How is everyone feeling this morning?
I've been busy in the garden these last few days and I think I've overdone it a bit, the old back is playing up a bit so I plan to take it easy today.

Lovely sunny day here. Yesterday afternoon my friend and I sat in my garden, so nice to be able to do so at last. It is May after all!

Mimi, I like having to go outside to change your mind Rest your back today! My OH would sympathise, she has played golf 4 consecutive days, and today is rather stiff!

A friend of ours is having a surprise 50th birthday party this afternoon, at her in laws house. Hopefully she will enjoy the surprise! Open house from 11 to 4, we shall drop in around midday.

Morning ladies just some ironing to do today and hoover bedrooms , after Dog went home last night I did a good blitz of downstairs so all clean to get up too , Apart from he always has his nose on patio windows he doesn't make a mess but I feel better giving it a good clean , have a good day ladies xx

Good morning everyone. Another late start for us today - that's 2 days together! I want to cut the lawn today - I put weed and feed on it on Wednesday and already the buttercup weeds have shot up, so I hope the treatment is working. This afternoon we've got to go into Southampton to take my poorly computer into the Apple Store. The tilt mechanism attaching the screen to the stand had broken. Unfortunately I don't think they'll fix it while I wait, so I might be without it for a few days. It's the first time I've had to have anything done to it and I'm very impressed with the service so far.

It's a bit grey here, but not cold.

Oma - one of the advatanges of having a large dog is that the nose marks are higher up the windows and doors and you don't have to bend down so far to clean them off!!!

That's true Daisy but the paw marks are higher and bigger too , for some reason he likes to lick the glass now with that and snotty nose marks it's not a good sight 😂 but I wouldn't change him for the world

Oma - I was cleaning our shower screen on the inside this morning and one stubborn mark wouldn't come off - then I realised it was a lick/nose mark on the outside! Now, I wonder who did that!!! I was talking to a friend a few days ago who had just lost a much-loved doggy and we both thought our houses didn't look 'right' without dog toys lying around, nose marks on glass and hairs everywhere!

It's amazing how they get under your skin Daisy I tried to talk my DD out of getting a dog she has 3 cats I didn't feel they needed a dog too but from day 1 I was in love 😊 my brother can't believe I allow a dog in my house the other day he said you really surprised me what do you do about the mess ? Me . Well I just clean a bit more hahaha

Afternoon ladies a busy Saturday for me hubby kindly took on dog walking duty so I could power wash the patio. I have planted up 6 wall baskets and put out 2 hanging baskets in which I am attempting to grow trailing tomatoes. I have loads more tubs to plant up, but will save that for tomorrow. Some ironing done and now I think a nice bubbly bath to ease the aches and pains. Pj's on early, easy dinner and Brian has put a bottle in the fridge to chill.

We had a lovely time at our friends party. Sat in the sun, met some new friends there, and laughed lots There were 2 tiny dogs there. I am not a doggy person as such but I seriously wanted to bring the smallest one home!
