    Good morning, ladies.

Nanto - it's pouring down here, and I thought at least you'd be getting your decorating done. Is it too late to send the rain up to you?

We've got dog training class today - exhausting for us and Eva, but well worth doing. Other than that and cooking a meal tonight, I'm having a day off!!

Mimi - I hope you're having a day off after all that ironing yesterday.

Daisy no day off for me at the moment, OH decided yesterday that he would tackle the job I have been asking him to do since last autumn.
We have an ornamental wooden wishing well in the garden and the roof sits to low, it needs to be higher up so that my plants can get some light, as it is at the moment any plants I put in there will be sitting in the shade .
As it is raining this will involve OH and myself ( needs me to do the important job, like holding things etc )cramped in the shed. Now OH isn't the most patience of men so this should be interesting

Enjoy your dog training day Daisy.
Nanto you are more than welcome to the rain we have here.
      Oma how is Brian ?
Have a good day everyone, think of me in that shed won't you
Bring me sunshine in your smile.

Raining here since I woke up. Reading all your posts today just shows how much we all love our GC. Rest day today. A couple of physical days coming up for me. Mimi try not to get too passionate huddled up in your little shed with OH.😂

I've spent most of the day making dribble bibs for my two youngest gs. Nice way to spend a wet day.

I am in mourning my beloved Henry the hoover is no more. Now dwelling in the scrap yard of heaven for hoovers, I have a spare my zanussi upright, but its rubbish on pet hair. So got to do some research its a toss up between another henry or hetty, or a dyson animal or miele. Decisions, decisions. Sun is out here now, got a good soaking on doggy walks this morning.

Mimi - I hope you and your wishing well roof survived today!

Oma - it's great to hear how well B is doing.

Nanto - glad our rain reached you in time.

Avo - dribble bibs are such a good idea, I think. I don't think they'd been thought of when our children were little and I was constantly changing wet clothes when they were at that stage!

LG - we had some spectacular rain, didn't we! I bet Shiloh didn't mind, though.

After dog training I was shattered and had a much-needed Nana Nap. Early night tonight as I've got to be at the hairdressers first thing in the morning for a much-needed trim.

                      Good morning.

Libra, I have 2 dysons, one upstairs and one downstairs, but hubby has a Henry in the garage that he uses for the car,
and he says it's a topping hoover.
                      Whichever you get, happy hovering.

Good morning. I have been awake since 4 am. I have done some on line shopping, have put a pork casserole in the slow cooker, put the cat out (twice) , chased away a Tom cat trying to get in through the cat flap and it's only 6.43 . I am going to be shattered by mid morning.
We have an exciting day ahead, we have both got a check up at the dentist and then we are going to buy a new bracket for the hanging basket.....life doesn't get any more exciting than this eh ?

Better safe than sorry Mimi, we wouldn't want your hanging basket to fall down.

I've been awake since 4am yesterday and today.

Good morning everyone. I'm only on here at this unearthly hour (7.54) because I've got the hairdressers at 9.30 and need to leave home before 9 am.

Mimi - take it steady dear - all that excitement when you've been awake since 4 am is too much!!

Today is the day our impulse-buy rug arrives - sometime between 12 and 9 pm! JL keep texting me to tell me - I think they must be as excited as me. So the big decision is, do we put it down straight away or wait until the room is decorated? The curtains are due to arrive tomorrow. If we got organised we could get paint and do it over the week-end!

Gosh, you are all up early!
I have put out recycling boxes and garden waste bin, fed cats, made 2 cups of tea and am now back in bed checking online things.

This afternoon, as well as her regular weekly shopping I am taking my mum to buy a new washing machine. I hope we find one at a price she is willing to pay. She tends to have a very unrealistic idea of what things should cost!

We need a new rug too Daisy. I wwould be tempted to put it down immediately, but would try to restrain myself until the decorating was done!
