Oma - a sad afternoon, but i'm glad it went as well as it did.
I've had a busy day with GD2 today. Everything she doesn't want to do is a battle at the moment - the terrible twos, I suppose - so it's tested my ingenuity to get her smoothly through getting in and out of her high chair, getting dressed, and nappy changes as needed. The biggest battle has been getting her off the trampoline which she adores. The easiest one was getting her ready to take their dog for a walk - but then she wanted sole control of the lead. <sigh>
My poor OH has had 'one of those day'. He still has a courtesy car from the accident 2 weeks ago. The repiars to his own car seem to be dogged with problems like wrong parts being sent etc. So this morning he went over to a mate's and got a puncture in the courtesy car, and the mate was out. He eventually got back home, got a phone call to say his car was ready about 4 pm and the garage closed at 5. Left to collect it - about 15 miles away - and never got there because of a massive traffic jam. Eventually he turned round and came home. Then he ran out of petrol. He's gone out to his wood-turning night out tonight, in my car. Should I be worried.
