I look weird in a headband Oma, well I think I do. And tying it up all the time seems pointless. Still debating styles but a bob is one Im thinking of, but one of those bobs where it's cropped at the back and the sides kept long. Glad your pain has eased Oma and Mr Qwerty hasn't done himself to much damage. More water with it comes to mind

            Good evening everyone.
I got everything done today, including making mums Christmas cake, which is in the oven
Just tea to cook, then feet up!

Oma, I'm sorry that your arthritis is flaring up. I hope you get some relief soon, and sleep better tonight.
            Poor Mr Qwerty too!
Qwerty, your GD has beaten mine to the tooth fairy. 6 years and 2 months, not even a wobbly tooth yet

Oh dear lots of mishaps on here, glad everyone appears to be getting better. My hair is really long now as you saw when it was an instant Afro on holiday. I wear it in messy buns, sleek buns, sort of chignon effect thing and sometimes if I can be bothered to straighten it properly I wear it with slides at the side but invariably if I wear my hair down it will end up in a clip or top knot. I have a hospital appointment on Wednesday and a hairdressing appointment just before.

My sitting room looks like Santa's grotto! All has to go in the loft tomorrow, just heard Ben cannot come for a sleepover at the weekend with the others which is a shame! Never mind I am sure the noise level will be the same with two as with three.

Oh dear, hope those in pain are feeling a bit better, and hopefully no more accidents or mishaps Mr Qwerty.

I am just shattered.Been up since 3.45am, done parents housework, done my own, then cleaned all through sons old house.

You never know, I might get an easier day tomorrow, might not.

Oh dear. Perhaps we should re-title this the Mishap Thread! I hope Mr Qwerty is ok after his fall, and Brian ok after his chemo. Oma - you should sleep like a baby tonight - and no, I don't mean waking every two hours for a bottle! Seriously, I hope you are in less pain and get get off to sleep quickly.

I've also been busy today - GD2 all day. I took her and their dog for a long walk this morning - over 3k in new money (I think that's nearly 2 miles). It took ages, because she likes to stop and talk to everybody, stand in every puddle and collect stones! She just about managed to eat lunch then went down for a nap for 2 hours, while the dog snored on the sofa all afternoon! Meanwhile, back home, OH shampooed the landing carpet and the hall rug, bless him.

Good morning. Hope everyone is feeling better, Brian after his chemo and Mr Qwerty after his fall, and ZIZI as well.

Let's hope we all have a day without any mishaps.

                              Hi everyone.
Have a good day whatever you are doing. I think we are all busy this time of year
                              Oma, take it easy today.

Another busy one for me. GS here until 4, then off to a client for 4.30. from there to see a music teacher friends Christmas concert at 6.30. A meal with friends after the concert though, so no cooking to do!

Went to post some cards yesterday, the postman was emptying the box which was jammed full, people had continued to put post in although it was full. I asked if I could put my cards straight into his sack, couldn't understand his answer but it was most definitely a no. A man joined me with one letter and we stood there, a young lady came along and not realising what was happening posted her letters, the man waiting said he thought she should run. Eventually he allowed us to put our letters in his sack. This is a main office post box and it only has one collection a day. We did wish him a Happy Christmas
