Morning all, nice early rise for us this morning had G over for a sleep over, thought we would just put him in our bed, OH's alarm goes off at 6.30 on his mobile, thought G might have slept through it, thought if OH was quiet G might sleep through it, but no he wanted the phone, think we will be shattered by 10ish....

Had him at the hospital for check up yesterday and they wanted a urine sample, there was no way he was parting with his, so have to take him back today, so that is going to be fun..

Glad B legs are getting better, hope he can get out today, weather seems nice here Oma,

Good morning everyone. It's dull and overcast here with rain threatening. So much for the sunny south!

Nanto - how is your kitchen today? Have you still got a good excuse .... err, I mean reason, to eat out again.

I've stuck in the house today waiting for a delivery for OH which may arrive this morning - or this afternoon, but he has to go out, so it's down to me. He's finally getting the garage sorted out after about 20 years, and has ordered some proper shelving/storage instead of the collection of shelves, cupboards and desk tops. Hopefully we might even be able to get a car in there by next winter!!

Morning ladies sun out but chilly ,Storm asleep at Brian,s feet he's sulking been getting told off chewed through another harness and made a run for it out of front door they found him in the park and he had ran across two roads to get there , He had his harness on and was tied to the stair rail till they got sorted to come out went to get something from car and in them few minutes he had ripped harness and was away . So one do in the dog house naughty boy ,😞🐶🐾

DD2 is coming over today with baby T, now 16 days old. DD may go out for a while, which wil be my first babysitting stint for baby T

E has spots everywhere, so isnt sleeping well, hence neither is DD1.

LOL Oma, I read it as Brian was sulking, not Storm Glad to hear B is getting about the house a bit.
Condolences to you Nana. I know it was expected, but iit's still sad.

Gem - how lovely if you get your first solo with baby T. Poor E, though, both he and his Mum must be really fed up.

Oma - Storm sounds like a real escape artist! Eva bolts when she's out for a walk, but if fine in the house. If the front door is open she either sits at the bottom of the stairs watching or wanders into the front garden, but she likes to stay close. We're taking her to a specialist dog trainer to help with the problems when she's out on the lead - I'll let you know how it goes. First lesson is next Wednesday.

Lots of lovely cuddles for you then Gem. All this dog talk makes me want one. I would like a cockerpoo but the family have a very aged Retriever and I think it would finish her off.

hi Daisy, spent most of the day putting the kitchen back together. Just need to get some hooks for the tie backs tomorrow. No cooking again,as we always have fish and chips on a Friday. No cooking tomorrow, we are going shopping,and always eat out when in town.
That will be 4 days without making a meal. Hubby will expect me to make a meal on Sunday.

He's gone now, and never woke at all! Luckily I had a cuddle with him earlier, before DD put him down for his nap.
DD woke him to give him a little feed before setting off to collect GD from after school film club.

Nanto - well done on escaping the cooking again. Perhaps you could eat out every day to save 'spoiling' your pristine new kitchen! It's worth a try, but I know it wouldn't wash with my OH. Are you pleased with your new look?

Gem - don't worry, it won't be long before he's awake, crawling and getting into mischief.

Plant - We were the same after we lost Rusty. It didn't seem fair to have another dog when Clyde was also elderly and needed quite a lot of care. But the 5 weeks we were without a dog were very sad weeks, I'm so used to having a dog or two under my feet!

G stayed last night so DD came over and we took him to the hospital his urine test was clear but being sent to the lab so will know for sure in a few days, what a job to get the sample from him, he was having none of it bless him, i remembered we had a potty which he hadn't seen or used, so got it out and showed him it saying it was for baby S, he said no mine and sat on it had a wee and DD put it in the sample pot, things you have got to do....

Got my beautiful E, K and baby sleeping tonight, they have been no bother, baby S is 1 next week and such a chunk he had shorts on and the rolls on his legs was like the michellin man, he is just gorgeous...
