GS is arriving soon. I am looking after him this morning and lunchtime, then the usual Thursday routine with my mum. DD is going to bring GS to meet mum and me when we have coffee on our shopping trip. My mum seems to have the idea he is a naughty boy, so I'm hoping he is on his best behaviour

Well I didn't get with Brian today I'm still unwell only had sips of water for two days and feel rotten but on a plus side the scans show the tumours are responding to the new treatment still some in his stomach and the groin ones have shrank but he has had another round of Chemo since that scan and two more to go , his bloods were perfect ,

Evening all, sorry your still under the weather Oma, where on earth did you pick that up from. Glad it was good news for Brian today. I've had the girls today after school and the jam roly poly they requested went down well, too well with M she scoffed 2 pieces. Loves her food that girl and nothing is off limits, T can be picky with certain things. Think I must have let the sunshine affect my brain, I have spring cleaned my kitchen today, even buffed up all the tiles. No girls next week as it's half term and DD SIL and girls are off to Devon for a few days. I am having eldest 2 girls on Tuesday from 7.45 until 5.15, really looking forward to seejng them.

Had results back from a urine sample I had to give doctor guess what it's still there fed up, frustrated and a bit sad ,really, got 2wks before I go for Botox again start antibiotics tomorrow for a week and then another sample to send off feel I am cutting it fine😒

A bit of bad news today, a friend of ours has been diagnosed with breast cancer, it's in her lymph nodes as well.

Nan2,,I'm very sorry to hear about your friend. Treatments improve all the time and outlooks are much better these days for breast cancer. My OHs had spread to some of her lymph nodes too.

Oma, good news about Brian, but I hope you're soon feeling better. Those S&D bugs are horrible!

Clover - you must feel as though you're in limbo - you know they're doing the best thing, but it's hard to accept 'nothing' is best. The big consolation is that it's at a low level, otherwise they would be giving you active treatment. I hope the blood test when it comes brings good news. xx

It's been sunny but cold here today, but I've managed to fit in 2 good walks with Eva.

Qwerty I hope the antibiotics work this time, it's not unusual to have to have more than one dose as we seem to be getting resistant to them unfortunately. It must be very frustrating but hopefully they will work this time .
Oma glad you are feeling better and it's good news about Brian isn't it.
Clover it's hard to be kept waiting but fingers crossed when the results come back it's good news.

Good morning everyone. It's sunny here after overnight rain, but I don't think it will last - and it's quite chilly.

I hope all the poorly people have a better day today.

I've got a trip to the supermarket to look forward to today - great joy, especially as the only reasonable route it subject to road works for the next 3 months and the traffic queues are a real pain. Or I could take the 'scenic' route which is suffering from all the other traffic with the same idea!

I'm glad to hear you are on the mend Oma. I hope you haven't been watching Emmerdale. They are dropping like flies on there with Norovirus. It would only make you feel worse!

A shopping day today. OH and I are both free, so will go together, and have lunch out I hope!
It is mainly birthday (DD and my sister) and baby related, so fun shopping! We need a new land line phone too, and have ordered one from Currys which is ready to pick up.

I also have the spare room to prepare for GS's overnight stay tomorrow. It seems to have become a dumping ground again since GD's last stay
