We had some heavy rain as well, and it was quite dark.

Nanto - I'm glad I'm not the only one with a perfectionist DIY OH! He's just tiled the kitchen for DS2 (plus loads of other stuff) and I was given the job of cleaning up the tiles after he'd grouted. Goodness, the inspection was thorough - I only just passed.

It's a lovely start to the day. Not doing anything special, just the usual kind of weekend for us.

Just packed all the meat I got from the butcher's yesterday, into the freezers. A bit of a struggle, I really must get some freezer stocks used.

I got up, changed the time on all the clocks, tried to work out how long the lamb would take to roast but it defeated me! Came back to bed with a cup of tea, and letting OH work it out
Gloriously sunny here this morning. Unfortunately showers are forecast this afternoon when we want to do the egg hunt in the garden.

We had a lovely day Children were good, lots of noise and mess, but all easily cleared up, and lovely to all be together. DD2s bump is ENORMOUS!!

Some friends from Yorkshire called round for coffee this morning, and we managed a nice walk between showers. I hope everyone else had at least a taste of sunshine.

Had a lovely lunch at DD,s didn't stay too long it was a bit much for Brian he did manage to walk from house to car very slowly and painfully but he did it , 😊
