Good morning everyone.

Today I am taking my mum to the dentist. The dentist is on the 3rd floor. No parking anywhere close and mum can't walk from the car parks and needs my support on the stairs. Therefore taking her is 2 person job now! As OH can't drive at the moment I have enlisted DD1s help. She can drive us and drop us off outside the dentist. She and GS can drive around for a bit, or park somewhere and keep an eye open for the traffic warden,then come back for us.
Collecting GD from school and back here, as it is Wednesday.

Morning all up early today for the simple reason it's our anniversary today 43yrs phew. Our favourite restaurant has been closed for refurbishment but opens tomorrow so postponing anniversary meal till tomorrow.
Mammoth job Gem taking mum to the dentist now love , but at least it's dry and no flipping wind, enjoy your day everyone as best you can I shall be expecting some visitors today so might not get back on

It's still windy here but dying down a bit (I hope I'm not speaking too soon!)Now it's raining, makes a change I don't think! I'm glad it's a lot calmer for some of you ladies but beware, real Wintry weather is forecast for later in the week!

This morning I've made some leek and potato soup,some sultana scones and also prep'd the dried fruit for the C cake!

I made Ben's birthday cake see picture. I also wrapped his present, made his pocket money envelope, sweetie bag and signed his card. We will be going over there once the school traffic has gone down. Looking forward to seeing him. Won't see the others unti,the weekend.

Once home I might try and catch up on the soaps if I have time. I had a voicemail from someone at work regarding a bid they want to me work on. I will write something in the my job s I have some interesting developments.......
