Mimi - what lovely news. You can start shopping now!

Oma - I'm pleased Brian's only got one more treatment to go - and I'm sure you both are too. Your Mutt sounds as though he's got enough energy for 6 dogs! Mind you, Eva is about 2 ½ and still like a puppy (although she doesn't chew things). I hope your blood test results are good.

Nanto - safe journey tomorrow - have a lovely time. That's good news about your friend. I hope it's helping to keep her cheerful and positive.

Nanto - very good morning. Win a few more prizes before you set off on your hols. Safe journey and have a lovely time.

Not a bad morning here - it's not quite so cold, and it's dry. I can't decide if it's worth trying to get the washing on the line though!

                Have a good week-end ladies.

It's over cast but dry here today, I have just put some washing out and the wind seemed quite cold.
No yoga for me today, I don't think my back and hips will let me do it, it's far to uncomfortable, I will be glad to see the Dr on Monday and see if he will put me back on to my original pain killers.
                  Have a lovely weekend everyone.

Baby Shower day today... off to DIL for 11 a.m. to help make sandwiches. We decorated the house yesterday with balloons and bunting. All her Midwife friends are coming from her old hospital and some from the new so if she went into labour today she would be well looked after lol!!!! Then this evening an evening wedding party. Busy day!

I have been like a whirling dervish this morning not a bit of dust or dirt to be seen now the house is sparkling from top to bottom stripped beds 4 lots off washing done tumble dryer going for England getting them all ready to iron even took shower curtains down , stood on work tops and cleaned kitchen cupboards tops (Brian stood by ladders ) he said just in case I fell not sure what he could have done if I did but he was there 😀 only have curtain rails to dust and a tricky surround sound speaker that is high on the wall behind telly my SIL usually does that for me when he comes for Josh so may leave it till Wednesday get him to do it then . I am well and truly worn out will do ironing later may do it while watching TV tonight ,
We have had sleet and snow now the sun is shining but big black cloud in the distance , have a good day everyone xxx

                        Hi everyone.

We are at DD3's today, OH is helping them board out their loft. We were in Wickes not long after 9, getting the boarding on our way to them. Far too early for Saturday morning!!

Busy lady Oma! Gosh it doesn't seem like two years since your FIL passed away. Poor B xx

                        Happy hols, Nan2!

Gosh can't believe it's 2 years Oma, that time has passed in a blink. The sun is struggling to show itself and it was blooming cold out at the park. I have blitzed the bathroom, stripped our beds all blowing on the line. Will iron tomorrow, as feeling bushed now. Its all well and good having a fully tiled bathroom, but boy it makes cleaning difficult. Avo hope you have a super baby shower with DD. I plan on doing not a lot this afternoon, and hubs is cooking dinner. Sausage, egg and chippies for quickness tonight.

Avo - your DIL will be well looked after if she did have the babe during the baby shower. It's getting exciting now, isn't it.

Oma - sending B a big hug. These anniversaries are always sad, but hard to believe it was 2 years ago. As always I'm in awe at your ability to do more housework in half a day than I could get done in a month! But today after I walked Eva, I've cleaned the living room windows, patio doors and glass panels in interior doors, plus dusting and hoovering and am just about to start on the hallway, and have stripped out bed, washed and dried everything and it's now ready to go back on (you will notice that I've skipped a stage!)

Gem - That's a busy day - working in lofts is so awkward.

LG - I thought it was a bit warmer this morning, but after half an hour or so walking Eva I found out it wasn't, and it's certainly got windy as well. I don't supposed Shiloh minded - Eva didn't!

Mimi - poor you - that sounds very painful.

Thanks for moving me Gemini! Not sure what I did ..... baby shower was great fun with lots of games. The hardest was working out the limb, or how many babies, or sex of baby on ultrasound pictures! We decorated bibs, we had chocolate bars melted in nappies to guess, guess the baby food, we all took a baby picture to guess each other from the photo. I'm sure everyone had a great time. Hope yours is just as much fun Gem!
