      Morning everyone.
Bright and sunny here too. A day to hang washing out!

Morning all , lovely sun shining in here , but it is very chilly out . Hung out a big wash yesterday but the skies opened just as we were going to take it in ! My DS said the frost would help whiten them , so they are still hanging out there

We had wonderful sunshine until 3pm then it hail stoned But it was lovely at the park this morning, another benefit of having a dog is I get my ration of exercise. Car went in for MOT and sailed through again, will miss my trusty old steed when we upgrade. Girls tomorrow and thursday, off work until next Wednesday. Youngest DD is treating me to lunch and we will do retail therapy on the 4th March, and eldest DD has invited us over on the 6th Mothers day for lunch. She has organised SIL to collect us and my DS will bring us home so I can have a glass or two of fizz. Other DD and DS are arriving for tea and cake at eldest DD's on the day, apparently my present is from all of them. In suspense now to know what it is lol. Very good at organising me, my DD's

It's been mostly sunny here, too, and quite pleasant in sheltered spots. We had a few drops of rain - not even enough to need the windscreen wipers on - but it did look a bit black over towards LG's and Enfys' way! It always amazes me how much the weather can vary in such a short distance!

I had a much needed trip to the hairdressers this morning and did a bit of shopping afterwards. In two shops the assistant asked me where I got my hair done - so I think it must have looked ok. But then I went round to DS2's and took their dog for a little walk, came home, had lunch and then took Eva-the-Eager-Beaver for a long hike in the Forest. I don't think I'd get any compliments on my hair now!!!

How is it that you can take a dog for the longest walk and they come home and run round like loonies for another half hour!

OH is out tonight so I've got sole possession of the remote! I hope there's something worth watching on!

Oma - I hope Brian's feeling ok after his long day at the hospital. xx

Clover - welcome back after your enforced absence. I bet you feel pleased that you were able to sort out your connection. It's shocking how cut off we feel without our access to cyberspace, but OH has a sister who hasn't got a computer and she and her OH never use the internet, and his other sister doesn't use a computer either, but at least her OH does. Still being advised to 'wait and watch' is actually good news, and like Gem says every time you get another ok check up the worry eases a little.

It was chaos at our Hospital this morning all the labs had gone down so no one could get Blood transfusions or Platelets transfusion , A lady from the lab had to come up and do all the blood checks the old fashioned way as the machines were down , A&E were sending any emergency,s who needed Blood to Hospitals out of the area , The unit was packed out of the door another two nurses had rang in with the sickness bug but the nurses that were on just got on with it and slowly got through the waiting room queue . One lady was so poorly they had to make up a bed for her till Ambulance could pick her up to take her to Newcastle for Blood the nurses couldn't do enough to make her comfortable they were amazing considering they were so short staffed , we got there at 9 and was out by 1 pm so not as long as we expected. Back again for 9 in the morning fingers crossed it's all sorted and we get out quicker .

Good morning ladies. It's bright and frosty here - the car is covered in ice! And I've got to go out in less than half an hour.

Oma - fingers crossed today is straightforward. xx

I've got GD2 all day today - so will be a long day.

                            Good morning everyone.

Daisy, drive carefully and I hope GD is a good girl for you.

GS was quite beastly when we took him out yesterday. OH says never again, or at least until he is better behaved, and I'm inclined to agree wth her.

I hope there is far less chaos at the hospital today Oma

Easy day for me. Some shopping, collecting GD from school and bringing her back here, then out for DD1s birthday meal tonight.

Not a good start to my day, I opened the fridge to get milk out and a bottle of wine slipped out and smashed on the kitchen floor wine and glass everywhere and I was barefooted. I tip toed out and got my slippers. The glass is now in a bucket and I have a wet sticky floor to tackle as well as slivers of glass and mourning over my lost bottle of wine. I am letting it dry and then I will hoover it before washing it. I expect I will be finding glass for days so no bare feet.
