Woke up to a thin covering of snow this morning but it was gone by 9 am. On the early news they said some flights from Leeds/Bradford airport had been cancelled. Hope you all enjoy your day. Good luck with the flower deliveries....what a lovely job.

Sometimes I despair. There has been in the past two weeks , two burglaries both close to where my DS and family live. In another area a man broke in a house and raped two young women. My friend had some items stolen from her sons grave, another family had items stolen from their daughters grave end the local school by me was broken into and all the toys from the nursery/ special needs class was taken.
Hereford isn't a very big city but this is a lot of crime in a small area, DS has put a security system in his home , he is that concerned. Our local Tesco has donated toys to the school and there is a petition for ctv to be installed at the burial ground but I can't see how the council is going to find the money for that when its struggling to fund the services it already has.
What is wrong with people that they have to stoop so low to do these things ?Bring me sunshine in your smile.

Good Saturday morning, ladies. Nanto - do DO miss you - it's nearly 9 o'clock and I've only just got here.
Mimi - all of those things are dreadful. How can people sink so low. The only good thing is that other, kinder, caring people step in and do their best to heal the hurts.
Gem - we're intrigued by the flower deliveries - look forward to hearing the story.
It's bright and sunny this morning and the frost is melting quickly. Have a good day everyone.

Morning ladies.
Mimi that's awful but for all the horrid people out there , there is more to step in and show their kindness, Human kind is a strange lot at times , I never watch our local news now as it seems they only report doom and gloom and those that steal from graves want naming and shaming when caught I would plaster their photos all over town .
Doesn't know what to do hear we have had rain , Sun , sleet, and more sun in last 2 hours , D'S coming with youngest 2 after lunch well he said that knowing my D'S could be anytime between now and next week never hold my breath I would turn Blue 😊Im not fat just 6ft too small

Morning ladies. Although there was a lot of horrible news around here, yesterday I was feeling blessed as my young neighbour called by with her new baby for a chat and for me to have a cuddle with her baby boy. It was a lovely gesture as we are surrounded with young couples here and to think that she took time to visit me and OH puts my faith back in the human race . A lot of the neighbours here , although they are very friendly they are also very busy and a quick wave and hello is the most we usually get.
It's a cold but sunny day here at the moment, thankfully we have had no snow and I hope it stays that way !
Hope everyone is fit and well . Enjoy the weekendBring me sunshine in your smile.

Snow overnight here. My DD was born on the 5th March 54 years ago and it was dreadful snow and ice, I had a home birth and we lived on a golf course up a track and the midwife had to leave her car in the carpark and OH had to carry the oxygen down for her. The doctor was called out (facial presentation) and he arrived in a jeep and stood by my bed in stocking feet. lets hope we don't see any more. Only yesterday I did a bit of gardening and sat in my sun lounge. What is life if full of care we have no time to stand and stare

Good morning everyone
The sun is shining, thank goodness, as OH has a full day of flower delivering. We had to do it in torrential rain all day yesterday. We decided I would have the day at home today, as we are having family round to eat tomorrow and there are things I need to get ready, plus a big pile of ironing to tackle, whilst watching catch up TV.“A grandchild fills a space in your heart that you never knew was empty.” – Unknown

From my kitchen window I can see the cul de sac across the road. The house in the end used to be a family home and then about five years ago it got sold and a succession of Eastern Europeans have lived the ever since usually seven or eight at a time. You see the changes, one moves on another moves in. The curtains have not changed in the whole time, not even taken down. A to let board was put up a few weeks ago and it is now let. I think the people who were in there did a runner because the new people have spent the last two days putting thjngs at the front including wardrobes, furniture, bbqs, children's toys big black bags etc. It was let as unfurnished so I am surprised that the agents didn't do an inventory. I hope the new tenants are making a note of all their work!If you want to go fast go alone, if you want to go far go together

Afternoon its cold but sunny here, done all the usual and whilst out with the mutt my beloved had cleaned and vacuumed bless him. I may need to sneak behind him on a couple of things but Im a lucky lady. Think my poor mutley may have a touch of conjuctivitis, not surprising if you could see the detrious the little loony goes intp on walks. ZIZI the last bungalow at the end of our road 5 doors away is rented, never with children in but some of the couples who have stayed there don't know the meaning of drawing back curtains or tidying the front garden. It always surprises me the agents don't do more than a yearly inspection."What doesn't kill us,makes us stronger."
