Poor Brian, he has far more than his share of ill health. Hope he gets well soon.
DD doesn't mind if she has a boy or girl as long as it is healthy. Our GS has now decided than mummy should call the baby Captain America!!! I'm not sure if that's an improvement on his last two choices, first one was Mario, second one was Jesus !
As for me and OH we don't mind we have two GSs and one GD so I suppose a girl would even it out but it's not important, as long as they are all ok , that's all anyone can ask isn't it ?

Oma - I hope Brian's managed to get some rest now and is feeling a bit better. Is this the last chemo treatment now? (I hope it is.) xxx

Mimi - I love GS's choices for names for the new baby! Mario and Jesus are quite common names in some countries! Not so sure about Captain America though!

After taking nearly 4 hours to do the shopping, I'm even more likely to try online shopping. The normal road to our nearest Sainsbury's is closed - for 3 months - and the diversion while not being a lot further in miles is so congested that I could have walked faster. But I got home and the sun was shining, so I took my lunch into the summerhouse and enjoyed half an hour watching birds on the bird feeders.

Daisy , I think that sounds idyllic ............. the lunch , not the shopping !

Aggie - it was idyllic. Well, at least I told myself I was watching the birds, not mentally listing all the jobs that need doing in the garden! I'm so pleased with my summerhouse, and today was the first time I've used it since we had Eva. She sat with me with her head on my lap. It doesn't take much to make me happy!

Poor Brian, hope he feels a bit better today.
Mimi, love grandsons choice of names Our niece went for her 20 week scan last week, all is well, but they don't want to know if it's a boy or girl.
A pile of ironng for me to do, then get packed, and other jobs in between.

Good morning, Nanto - our morning cuppa looks very exotic. We'll have to put it on the menu at the Tea Room.

Neither of our DILs wanted to know the gender of their babies, so we had 4 surprises, which was lovely.

It will be nice when the ironing and packing are done - it's the worst part of holidays. When do you leave?

Another busy day for me - I've promised tohelp OH with something he's working on, but it's looking quite dull and grey so I don't think I'd be sitting in the summerhouse today anyway.

Oma - I do hope Brian is feeling a bit better and managing to get some sleep.

                Have a good day everyone.

                  Oma, how is Brian today?

It's grey and dull here too.
Mum and I are going to see my sister this afternoon. This Sunday is the babyshower, so I have to do some finishing touches for that.

I hope you all have a good day

Oma glad Brian is feeling better, hope the dog is in calm mood but doubt it, these puppies are all go. The sun has cone out now and its beautiful, hubby is beavering away in the garden transplanting raspberry canes. I have Granny duty for 30 minutes this afternoon, so only a brief stint for me.
