Vile weather I was almost blown over at the park, kept well away from the trees creaking and swaying. Believe it or not the footballers were out in it playing a match Home with a hot cuppa and toasted tea cake courtesy of him indoors. Going to settle down to some crafting, making heart shaped christmas bauble for each of my girlies. Its been a tradition ever since E was born every year they get a handmade bauble to go on their own little tree. Keep safe and dry everyone.
Qwerty - you certainly do have a very, very special DD. I'm glad you enjoyed your day in York despite Gem forgetting to put the heating on for you, and then turning on the shower!
Can I just make to point that your DD is the way she is in large part because of the way you brought her us, and also it's in her genes (ie you and her Dad). xxx

You deserve a lovely caring DD Qwerty, because you are lovely caring mum
OH and I did think of you yesterday, in York, when we were tucked up warm and cosy inside as the rain lashed the windows! I'm glad you had a nice time anyway!
Have lovely break Nan2.

Aww what a lovely DD you have Qwerty, spoiling her Mum. Clearly she loves and appreciates you very much.
My youngest DD and family are staying in London with S.I.L's sister tonight before flying out from Stanstead to Lapland, minus 10 degrees rather them than me. But I'm sure it's an experience the girlies will remember for a long time to come.
