Very windy here but now rain...yet! I plan to wrap presents and write cards today if nothing else gets in the way . Have a good Sunday.

Vile weather I was almost blown over at the park, kept well away from the trees creaking and swaying. Believe it or not the footballers were out in it playing a match Home with a hot cuppa and toasted tea cake courtesy of him indoors. Going to settle down to some crafting, making heart shaped christmas bauble for each of my girlies. Its been a tradition ever since E was born every year they get a handmade bauble to go on their own little tree. Keep safe and dry everyone."What doesn't kill us,makes us stronger."

Afternoon ladies well yesterday we went York for the xmas markets with DD and family Liz I am disappointed you didn't put the heating on in York the wind was cruel and we got soaked, but do you know what I enjoyed it anyway we walked round the stalls regardless of the rain well it's only water isn't it! We ate mince pies from Betty's hot chocolate with cream and marshmallows and hot rum punch and tea in a really nice restaurant, we all have amazing DD's I know but mine has me in awe sometimes she is bright, funny and so easy going and at festivities like this she gives me the odd kiss and when I say what's that for and she says do I need a reason, she leads such a busy life that these times are so precious and gives us the chance to be spontaneous. Also after looking after G/c and the family in general me and OH get looked after we just sit down in various coffee shops and she brings drinks etc we feel pampered for one night and we get the chance to not link arms bu to hold hands daft you might think but means so much to meπ©*β€οΈ*π*π©Last edited by Qwerty; 29-11-2015, 02:28 PM.

Qwerty - you certainly do have a very, very special DD. I'm glad you enjoyed your day in York despite Gem forgetting to put the heating on for you, and then turning on the shower!
Can I just make to point that your DD is the way she is in large part because of the way you brought her us, and also it's in her genes (ie you and her Dad). xxx"Joy is what happens to us when we allow ourselves to recognise how good things really are. "

So pleased you had a good day in York Qwerty, even though the weather wasn't very kind to you. I love York.
Today's weather has been awful, strong winds and very heavy rain.
Have heard it's warm in Spain,so will try to bring some sunshine back.Sometimes I forget to like posts, but that doesn't mean I don't like them.

You deserve a lovely caring DD Qwerty, because you are lovely caring mum
OH and I did think of you yesterday, in York, when we were tucked up warm and cosy inside as the rain lashed the windows! I'm glad you had a nice time anyway!
Have lovely break Nan2.βA grandchild fills a space in your heart that you never knew was empty.β β Unknown

Aww what a lovely DD you have Qwerty, spoiling her Mum. Clearly she loves and appreciates you very much.
My youngest DD and family are staying in London with S.I.L's sister tonight before flying out from Stanstead to Lapland, minus 10 degrees rather them than me. But I'm sure it's an experience the girlies will remember for a long time to come."What doesn't kill us,makes us stronger."
