We took GS to a cafe with outdoor play area this morning. He had fun and let off steam
This afternoon he played with dinosaurs in the paddling pool, and in the sandpit etc. A little CBeebies downtime now!

OMA sending my love. I am sorry I am not posting on here a lot lately. I am just so tired but look at this:

How do you deal with car dealer (dealing from home) neighbours when they park a van outside your front gate with a professional for sale sign on? A) look on the Internet and find they are not doing anything illegal B) phone 101 for advice and they confirm there is no law being broken unless there are two for sale vehicles within 500m of each other on the public highway and parking outside our house is not illegal either C) go and have a chat and ask them to please move it at least to outside their house to be told to go away using swear words D) big, VERY big downstairs neighbour, full of tattoos, piercings, muscles, gruff Lundun accent, wouldn't want to meet him when he is in a bad mood, goes around and tells them that if they don't move it he will run over it in his big old landrover. Which one do you think worked? Clue, it wasn't the first three.......

To be fair the downstairs neighbour, although he does look scary has never ever done us any harm but I am quite certain he could do harm if he decided to! I had persuaded him to let me go around and speak to them as they are bit bullying and I didn't want a fight breaking out but when I returned from seeing them neighbour said "well are they going to move it?" when I told him what was said he just told me to stay right away from them and he was going around there. I was very worried but I must admit he didn't shout or swear, just told them that they owed me an apology and then told them what he would do if they didn't move the van then walked away. They haven't apologised but I am not going to kick up a fuss.

Today my mum wants to vist one of her oldest friend's who has gone into a care home. She has dementia, so I hope she recognises mum. She did last time we visited her at home a few weeks ago, but she asked mum if I had any children, so didn't know who I was any more. Her husband aged 91 and not too well himself has coped admirably with the help of carers, but the time had come for more help.

It is beautiful hear sun and a slight breeze , getting jobs done while OH having his treatment got all the Ceiling lights clean and polished put washing on and my washer is acting up keeps switching off after 20 minutes finally got them done and on the line so had a break and a cup of tea, i always put it on a little sandwich tray as i have shakey hands all going well till i sat down and promptly spilt it all down my clean dress so had to change and put it in wash , , hoovered the garden and sat reading my book for a hour . would have a nana nap but waiting for a delivery of German bread from a German shop in Windsor maybe a doze on the chair wouldnt go amiss

Busy bee, you make me feel so guilty, I should at least have hoovered the garden. Packing to go away tomorrow so trying to leave the house clean. German bread sounds good. Will keep popping in to see how Brian is getting on.

Bruddy chucking it down here. Got loads of washing to do but don't want it hanging around indoors. Ordered som new leggings, size 14 as usual and they came and are really saggy around the bum and the knees. I also ordered a beautiful Cobalt coloured jacket (in two sizes) well that is it looked beautiful in the model, on me it looks like a rag, nice colour though. Also got some straight leg joggers but a) they are way too long even though they are supposed to be the short version and b) they swamp me. Bought some pretty camisole type tops but haven't tried them on yet and three pairs of shoes, two the same but different colours (flats) and one really pretty nude pair but why did I order the nudes in EEE? No idea. The one thing I tried on that does fit, apart from the two pairs of shoes, is a pretty Joe Brown loose knit pink shrug. So most of that order will be going back. Pooh.

Loads of things look lovely on models,but they never look the same on me.

I know heavy rain was forecast for the south ZIZI, supposed to be coming this way later today., thunderstorms been forecast as well for us.

Raining, but not very heavy,we didn't have the storms during the night that were forecast.
