Usual day with my mum today, all well with her, and the sun shone OH at an away golf competition today. They have a meal there so its fish finger,s oven chips and peas for me! Can't be bothered to cook and we had pasta last night.

Mimi I love your graphic of not sleeping although the actual not sleeping isn't funny I have a 5 yr old that stops every week ,kicks granddad out but she follows me round the bed I lift her up further away from me and soon as I settle down she is up my back again I don't sleep well then although she does wake me up I love her little sleepy talk "cuddles grandma"

Plans for today are just supermarket shopping,not going into town, so should get some jobs done in the house.All the gardening was done yesterday.

My GD used to do this to me when she came to stay, at the time I was suffering intense hot flushes and the last thing I needed at night was a toddler clinging to me with the duvet she had managed to wrap us in !
GS has gone back home to mummy and daddy so it's a welcoming quiet weekend kickstarted by yoga this morning.

Lovely morning here but clouding over a bit now. Still it might be a bit cooler to take 'rent-a-dog' for his afternoon walk. Got himself stung by a wasp yesterday just inside his mouth. Luckily swelling went down quite quickly and he let me bathe it in some baking soda and water.Seems fine today, so that's a relief!!

Lovely day here, clouding up a bit at the moment, been to John L to sort out a Sat.Nav ready for my holiday although you would think we would know the trip to Cornwall by now. I am travelling down with my eldest GD on Friday stopping overnight at a very nice hotel, a treat for her. We will only have about 1/2 hours drive the next day. My DS and his family and friends are going to St.Just, GD and I are also there in another house. My DD and SIL are going to be in St Ives, no doubt we shall meet at some time. My GD is very close to my DS,s family so she will be hopefully, if the weather is fine, going to the beach with them.
