Good morning everyone hopefully it will be another nice day to day. Yesterday OH started painting the garden fence that had been repaired the previous week but it proved to be too much for him, he had to come in and rest before he could continue with it so yours truly finished it . I do wonder if he will ever be 100% fit again after he was taken ill just after Christmas.
After he had had a rest he did manage to hoe the garden boarder where I had been standing where I had been painting.
Today I hope to put up the hanging baskets and plant my dwarf runner beans out into planters. I am so behind his year with the plants , I think it's a combination of the cold weather and the ' I can't be bothered ' feeling I am finding hard to shake off .

Morning all, another day up bright and early, washing out so wait for the "rain" clouds, I am sure it is me who "jinx" this weather.....

OH in a lot of pain with his shoulder, and now a "man" flu coming on, he is never ill or complains but its really getting him down, I can see it, I think my lot are all ready for the long weekend off....

I done the usual thing what we all do, put something down and cant remember where, I lost my glasses, they had to be in the house, I hadn't been out, checked everywhere, places I thought well maybe, couldn't find them so asked OH and DD's if they found them give is them, no one could see them, so this morning I woke up and there on the bedroom cabinet, asked OH did he put them there, yes he had found them under the quilt, must have fell off when making the bed... I'm sure I'm getting worse...a few days ago I couldn't find dish cloth, that was in the fridge, don't know how it got there....

Well husband liked his trousers for s birthday present. Took him to a garden centre this morning (yes I know I am supposed to be working but who cares) and got stuff with vouchers her was given for Christmas plus some new herbs for my pots and a new strawberry plant. Something seems to have eaten the other ones! Then went on to butchers and then picked up dil who was to pick up the car from the mechanic. Got halfway there and the garage called and said it wasn't ready, she was not best pleased! So we turned around and I dropped her back. The idea of going to the butcher and baker today was to leave time available for tomorrow as it is going to be nice and we can get some bits done but now I have to put the car through the wash (I need husband with me as I don't like being in the swisher), get the papers, fill the car with diesel, go to Feltham to a Lidl to get something that he particularly wants, buy birthday cards for sister and Joe. so really I have not saved myself any time.

I have also just eaten two small kit kats in honour of my busy day tomorrow. Going out for an Indie tonight which I am looking forward to.

Busy work day for me,well for all of 5 hours.Cooking for the darlings !!! Bramble had his grooming appointment at 3pm,he is now sulking totally unimpressed with the indignity of both hair cut/bath and the added indignity of having nails clipped.But he does look and smell lush. Weekend off ,time for some gardening weather permitting and just generally kick back and relax. What on earth has happened to the weather,it's awful for the end of May.

A few weeks ago my DD's friend asked me to make her little one a Minnie Mouse Birthday Cake, it was a disaster, so ended up buying a one from Tesco and making some little Minnie Mouse cupcakes, they were good, so DD's friend sent a bottle of Prosecco, which I haven't tried before but gather its the new in thing....so I have just poured myself a glass, (not saying what size) but might get 2 glasses out of it, going have a shower, clean PJ's on and an early night...

In my part of the world the lovely Bank Holiday weather we have been having seems to have gone. It rained all night and is dull now. The rain has stopped at least!

We are going out to breakfast soon. I decided last month that this would be a monthly event, trying different places each time.

We have just joined the National Trust so are off this morning to a local stately home and garden. We decided we really must get out and do more so this is the start . Hope everyone has a good Weekend

Good morning.Abit late getting on here today,been busy cleaning kitchen cupboards out.Didn't go to Meadowhall yesterday,went to Sheffield town centre instead.Didn't know until we got there, but it was Sheffield food festival. Loads of things to sample, but I didn't try much, hubby is a bit more adventurous than me when sampling new foods.
After a few showers earlier, the sun has come out,so put a line of washing out.
