Its not a bad day here today light cloud and the odd sunny interval, my DD childminder is on holiday this week she picks her up from school 3 dys so today is my turn she has told everybody I am coming and how much she does with us, I hope I live up to everybody,s expectation . Then out for tea mum picking her up about 7 ish

Well thanks to the weather I've caught up with the dreaded h*******k, hung new curtains and nearly finished the i******!!! Looks like more rain this afternoon, but hopefully not the thunder and hail we had yesterday. Looked and felt like it had been snowing. When are we going to get a spell of decent weather? I've got new shrubs to plant in a bed I've just cleared. At least they're getting a good watering with all this rain!

I did the most ridiculous thing today, I went to pick g/d up and the teacher said who are you here for and I said my DD's name I havnt picked her up for 25 yrs what was I thinking luckily she knew it was me and said did it bring back memories, I was able to say well my DD is still a child sometimes at which point she said arnt we all. I swear I am losing my marbles

I'm loving the Good Morning graphcis too, even though I often don't get to them until evening at the moment! I could do with stopping the world for a couple of days so I can catch up. I even find I'm playing fast music on the computer so I type faster!!


We went out for coffee and lunch today. It was with a group of OH's ex-colleagues - a pensioners' club by any other name! But we enjoyed the company and I'm always happy if I get a meal i haven't cooked!

Son, dil, Sadie and Joe came earlier on to see husband to wish him happy birthday and give him cards and a gift. They bought a beautiful Acer. we already have two but this one is a different colour, you cannot go wrong with a plant/garden gift for husband.
