        Back home after a hectic few days at DD's! have posted about doggo on Poorly doggo thread!

        Sad news waiting for me on my return. A dear friend passed away this morning from cancer. She had breast cancer about 15 years ago, first on, then the other and the cancer went on to riddle her body but she always managed to get through the treatment. Sadly not this time, as it had spread to her bones.She was only in her 50s and a lovely,lovely lady who will be sadly missed.

          On a positive note....OH had his check up on Wednesday and his blood results are all fine and no sign of any lumps or bumps....phew!! Doesn't need to go back until December!

              So pleased about your OH , WG

              So sad about your friend though, very sad news for you to come home to.
              When we were told OHs breast cancer had spread to her bones we thought her days were very strictly numbered.. That was almost 8 years ago. She remains well and very active, so far, and long may it continue. It just shows everyone is different, as is every illness.

                      Plenty of sunshine here,but very windy.Been a busy but productive day here.
                      Did housework, including the ironing
                      Cut the grass
                      Went in the shower
                      Made something to eat
                      Next door neighbour gave us enough rhubarb to feed a nation, so cut,washed,packed in tubs, then had to sort out both freezers to get it all in, managed to squeeze it all in, in the end.

                            Welcome to a new week...... our new baby has still not arrived. DIL will have a 'sweep' on Wednesday if we have a no show before then. Come on little one the sun is shining!
