Let's hope your friends DD can help, but let me know if you do want my friends contact details.
I know full well how hard it is to arrange care for pets while on holiday
Thank you that is very useful to know, do you know what her charges are ??"What doesn't kill us,makes us stronger."

Hooray finally got something sorted,my best friends DD has offered to have Bramble & guinea baby for us so we can have a holiday. Of course we insisted on remunerating her for her kindness, even though she has objected strongly. So fingers crossed Hubs is booking tomorrow for a week in Malta."What doesn't kill us,makes us stronger."

Qwerty, yes we have, but it's in Seattle so we should be ok - even our 'finger of doom' doesn't stretch that far! There again, Seattle's climate is not much different from our own!

Another wet morning here again today. I hope the weather improves as I want to get the wallflowers up and plant out some bedding plants.
I had a busy day yesterday,DD and GS visited us. It was lovely to see them and I took the opportunity to get a new phone and contract while DD was with me as she was able to get me a considerable discount via her work staff discount scheme.Bring me sunshine in your smile.

Wee Granny - I've just spotted your new signature. It's a fantastic attitude to have in life - love it.
Mimi - I hope the sun's shining for you - it's nice here, so fingers crossed for all those wallflowers and bedding plants.I love getting a new phone - that's a bit sad, isn't it!!!

Good morning everyone. No rain here - so far! Fingers crossed as OH is golfing all day.
Happy holiday Avo, and I hope your shingles doesn't spoil it for you.
What did the consultant say Qwerty?
My OH has a golf competition day, followed by a golf dinner tonight. I have a client to go to at 4, and will visit my mum first.
With my day I plan to catch up with the ironing. OH has done the lions share since retiring, so it's time I did my share! I am trying to exercise more, so I will walk into the village to the bank. It's not far, but usually I would drive, on my way to somewhere else.

We have had sunshine with occasional cloud bursts and when it rained it rained.Hubs was in the middle of the park with the dog when the heavens opened this morning. Now the sun is shining and the sky is blueflipping weather wish it would make up it's mind. Have a great break in France Avo.

It has been stop start rain, cloud, wind, hail stones. Went to a charity garden party, wash out. Shame.
This evening got an email with a link to a film made of my event last Friday on YouTube. When I find out how to do it I will put it on here but not public, YEO I think. Out to lunch with someone I am working with in my seconded role but I worked with in my original role at the power station, this is going to be a girl lunch and if business interrupts well we will just have to have another glass of wine to get rid of it. There are some consolations to being seconded, it is almost like being freelance, no one knows what you are doing so you can do anything you like!
Admin if there is somewhere I should put that YouTube thing on please let me know. Smiley face......If you want to go fast go alone, if you want to go far go together
