Good morning, Nanto - what a lovely cheerful graphic.

Qwerty - I'd have been in tears with frustration and disappointment too. I hope you got a good night's sleep and are feeling a bit better this morning. Big hug. xx

Mimi - No wonder you were cross! It's bad enough being woken up unnecessarily when you're usually sleep well, but you must have been really annoyed.

Sunshine here this morning, although quite frosty. I'm hoping to get out in the garden and move pots back into place now the gardeners have finished but my back and neck are aching after looking after GD2 yesterday. I'll see how I feel after I've walked Eva.

I hope all the poorly people are feeling better.

      Good morning.

Next door are having double glazing installed. It is very noisy!!

Cold but sunny here. Usual Thursday stuff with my mum - shopping, out for coffee etc. DD1 and GS are meeting us for coffee today, which they do from time to time. Although all mum ever wanted was a son or grandson, the reality of her GGS is too much for her! DD finds it easier to meet elsewhere with me present, less disapproving glances! We meet in Wilkinsons cafe, so GS and I can look at all the toys while DD and her grandmother chat!

Daisy, rest and keep warm, those pots will wait!

Nan2, I hope your appointment goes smoothly.

We are also having new Windows fitted. As I wrote on the other thread we have no windows, it is freezing, my nose is running, I have two jumpers on, my coat and my boots and I need the loo but cannot go in there as the man is fitting the window. I can confirm it is all very noisy ..............

Qwerty - glad you're feeling better after yesterday's trauma, and I hope you get some answers about your reflux. Tomorrow is going to be a long day - especially if you have no cots for the twins! Will they sleep in their buggies?

Gem - the pots will have to wait - my day has been gobbled up by 'things'!!!

Todays appointment went well. Doctor was happy to leave things as they are. he said it would be needless to do anymore surgery at the moment.
He is going to refer me back to our local hospital, and suggest they do check ups every 6 months, for the next 2 years, but said he would be happy to treat me if needed.

Hope Qwerty's appointment went well today.

Nanto - I'm pleased to hear you've escaped the operating theatre, but it's good to know you will get regular checks.

                          Really windy here too.
A really bad night, for some reason. I need matchsticks to keep my eyes open!

My mum has an appointment at the hospitals audiology department today. OH and I both need to go, OH to drop us off, me to go with mum.
Tonight 2 of our best friends are coming to eat with us. We haven't seen them since mid December. They have just returned from a month in New Zealand, so it will be good to catch up.

Morning everyone. It's windy here too. I noticed on FB that LG is taking Shiloh for his first run on the beach, so I'm hoping it's not too rough for either of them.

We've got to go in to Lymington this morning and we're wondering whether it will be calm enough to take Eva for a walk along the Quay. She was spooked by seagulls the other day, so it's something else she's got to get used to.

Gem - I hope your mum's appointment goes ok - I'm sure it must be stressful for both of you. But you have a nice evening to look forward to. I'd love to go to New Zealand!

Well we made it to the beach, walked from Branksome Chine almost to Shore road, but boy was it blowy. We were going to get as far as sandbanks but the wind hitting sand into my face was painful. Shiloh had a paddle but wasn't tempted to go in further, strange as he love a muddy, stinky river or stream. He's definataly a one woman dog, he allowed DD to throw his ball for him once, but returned it to me lol.Certainly blew the cobwebs away and good exercise.
