Been up since 6.45 am. First day back at work after holiday and secondment. I am gradually filling my diary but tomorrow looks like it will be another work from home day as I have not had any details on the project which is to get military personnel work after service. Wednesday I shall be out all day and Thursday I am going to a meeting on "community matters" in Guildford. I should be home early afternoon although I am not looking forward to the getting there at 9am, at least I will be going against the traffic!

Cold, frosty and grey here. I hope it cheers up later this week, Wednesday is public transport and a fifteen minute walk to the site plus it is a new site and their heating isn't up and running yet bbbbrrrrrr I feel cold already.

Been to IKEA for my napkins and candles , then did a bit shopping in Asda that is near Ikea now back home feeling tired been up since 4 ish so may have a Nana nap after lunch 😊

Got up early this morning to go to town and do some Christmas shopping
The day didn't start off well. I missed the bus so I was left hanging around in the cold for the next one.
Once I got to town , armed with my Christmas shopping list my first stop was Debenhams, I managed to get everything I wanted and set off to the tills to pay, only to discover I had left my Debenhams credit card at home, with out that I couldn't claim the discount that is tied in with my card. I put everything I had back in the basket and set off to my next port of call, our local football club shop to buy eldest DS a polo shirt only to discover that the opening times displayed on their website bears no resemblance to the actual opening at the shop. They are not open until tomorrow.
Not daunted by this I set off to get the next item on the list, a set of Christmas decoration making kit for my GS who is coming to stay this weekend, I thought it would be something for him to do and to take home to mummy and daddy. The shop I went in had sold out of them !
This is when I gave in, I popped to boots , brought some toe nail scissors for OH (Not a Christmas present ) and came home.
I am now going to do some online shopping and see how that goes !!!

Afternoon all its so cold and the sun has now gone, it was gorgeous over the heath when I walked Shiloh this morning with the sun shining. Dear OH has been very busy putting in posts all around the garden so we can doggy proof it, had to hack back lots of climbers and shrubs but they will do better for the cutting and grow back through the new mesh fence, well thats what we hope. Tomorrow is hospital at BGH to see Consultant about the blister on my retina, been told to allow for 2 hour visit fingers crossed it will be a leave it and see rather than needing any treatment.

Libra you are very brave. On my donor card I have crossed "eyes" off. I know I won't be alive when they take the organs but I just cannot bear the thirty of something being done to my eyes. Good job I am not the member of the family with glaucoma. I cringe just taking husband to the clinic and when he has had operations on them (while he is awake eeeekkkkkk)

Oh don't worry ZIZI I told hubby when we went 3 weeks ago if they need to do anything, they will have to knock me out completely. I crossed eyes off my donor card as well, just too creepy.

Evening all having a busy time at mo childminding has gone up a tad had eldest g/d for the weekend, today the twins and doing a Daisy tomorrow up at 6am to get to DS for 7am to have twins DS going to London for 2dys for several meetings and DIL going in the opposite direction Newcastle for a meting so hope the alarm wakes me up!!!!

GS day today.After being a late toilet trainer( they didn't really try him until he was 3) He has progressed quickly from pull ups , potty and now is using the child's toilet seat . I think the changing mat will last for GC#3, so I will just clean it and put it into the loft, in Baby Corner as we call it!

Chucking it down here today. I went to the village to get the money from the hole in the wall for my ironing fairy and felt very uneasy when there was a chap in an orange jacket hovering behind me. I went into the shop and bought a jar of jam just to get me away from him. When I came out he was walking ahead of me and kept looking back so I crossed the road and when I got to my house I went down the neighbour's drive and waited for a while. When I came out I couldn't see him so I came indoors. Feeling a bit unnerved to be honest, not like me.

Was up half the night with another bruddy bout of cystitis, it isn't the worst I have had but it is annoying. I was supposed to be in town today but meeting got cancelled so I might go and have a little sleep once the ironing has come back.

I did get an email this morning from our solicitors who are dealing with the freehold purchase. I can't remember if I told you but I have put a complaint in. Two and a half years have gone by since the original agreement was made for the four maisonettes to buy the lease. Glad to know that the senior partner is taking notice and it is not going to be brushed under the carpet. We wanted the freehold documents to be available for when we make our last mortgage payment at the end of this month. That is not going to happen now!

We had our Netflix account hacked a few weeks ago and now I find that my nectar card points have been spent in Argos in Slough! Bruddy £90 worth which I was saving for things for the house when we have the alterations done. Nectar help desk, based in India or somewhere similar, is very frustrating and I spent twenty seven minutes on hold yesterday! gggrrrrrrrr.......
