I bought a new computer. it is a convertible thing. Can be a laptop or a tablet. You just fold it in half. Sounds fab doesn't it? Pain the A***. Doesn't do what I expect it to, makes things go bigger when you don't want it to. Doesn't let me touch the screen to start typing. I have just paid £550 including software and I want to kill the flipping thing.

I had an appointment for my heart problem last week, consultant said avoid stress. Well that is not working with this flipping device. Actually the only thing I like about it is that it is purple. Yes, I have a purple coloured laptop.

Morning ladies just been for some shopping , I have a poorly hubby in bed I think the cold is coming to its height now he never stays in bed so must feel rough . Bought all his favourite things and some sweets plus mints breath like a builders arm pit but gagging when he tries to clean teeth so it's just been mouth wash today , have a nice day everyone , Zizi go back to new computer when your calmer it's teething troubles you will get the hang of it 😊

Off up town today for a meeting with a charity which works with homeless hostels and also apparently going to be working with hospices. Will be interesting to find out what their plans are. It is the construction industry homeless charity called CRASH. I have worked with them for a number of years and insisted on keeping them with me when I was seconded. Unfortunately my stewardship was removed last year and I was really angry that the bosses had broken their promise. Looking forward to seeing old faces - well young faces but ones I haven't seen for ages.

Mimi I am sure you are right but it is very frustrating. Yes get well soon Brian. Gemini my heating went south earlier in the week as well. We were about to call someone when Husband saw a reset button which has clearly been there for the whole fifteen years and two months we have lived here but neither of us noticed and when he pressed it the water and heating came on however it has cut off three times since then so giving us a clue that the boiler needs to be replaced (which we have known for a while). We shall be having new windows put in Thursday week and after that we will look at kitchens. Our fridge also seems to be on the blink. My white wine is WARM . I am going to put some bottles outside tomorrow for when I get home, will put in "the alternative fridge" which is a huge BBQ we have. So we are going in search of a cheap fridge freezer to keep us going until the new kitchen is done. I want all integral units. Husband said to get a super new fridge but if we are going to spend a fortune on a new kitchen I want it exactly perfect. Another lady on here, cannot remember who, told me that she compromised on her new kitchen and always regretted it. Well anyway I am having to have a gin and tonic with ice until the issue is resolved, a girl has to put up with some hardships to maintain her lifestyle........

So I have just spent five minutes being told that is "No human Verification" and being unable to post - this on my new super doper machine. I hope this time it works or I am giving up.

Plumber came, we are still not sorted. You can press that reset button, open the taps for the pressure, both of which OH has been doing, and nothing. OH can usually manage to get it to work sometime in the afternoon, when it works until we go to bed. Going up and down several times to attempt it is far from ideal, as it's in the loft. We may have to call the boiler firm next, as once again we have woken to no heating.

GS day today. I have 5 dinosaurs with 2 dinosaur books, borrowed from the the library, so I hope he will be impressed

Brrrr..very cold here this morning. DH is deciding the car as we want to pop out quickly. Then we'll be back in the warm for the rest of the day, at least I will, he has bowling this afternoon.

My stitches are itching, will be glad to have them out on Thirsday and I have a nice bruise on my cheek but otherwise it's looking good.
