Morning all, Oma thats why I use a crate when we go out, I can't trust him at least until he's older. I've heard of dogs chewing plaster, doors, carpets etc, not worth the carnage. We have just bought a new crate for Shiloh and I think I was too ambitious, theres room for 3 spaniels. But plenty of room. Well I'm a bit cross as I donated a click clack sofa bed to the sally army, its only 2 years old, the arrangement was collection yesterday. Not a sign of anyone coming to collect, I'm not best pleased as we are trying to rejig our spare bedroom. I was hoping to have the room all done and dusted by the weekend, hey ho best laid plans and all that."What doesn't kill us,makes us stronger."

Good morning!
Worcester man came fixed and serviced the boiler, so we have heat
Yesterday I was late to collect GD from schoolHalf the journey is on dual carriageway, followed by single road which passes through several villages. With 2 minutes of leaving the dual carriageway the traffic slowed to a crawl. I switched to a local radio station, to learn there was an accident up ahead. There was no alternative but to keep going. I always allow 45 minutes for the 25 minute journey, so arrive at school in plenty of time. As we were hardly moving there was no way I was going to make it in time. I phoned SIL, who phoned school to let them know. In fact I was just 10 minutes late, and wasn't the last. I am going to put the school number in my phone!

Awww Qwerty, sorry the injections didn't go ahead.
Oma, our niece has a dog that had to have 2 operations for things he had eaten. He used to run about the house like a madman.Vet suggested one of those calming plugs, which did work. Don't know if it would help Storm or not.
Gem, pleased you have heating again.
Hope your frozen food is ok ZIZI.Last edited by Nanto2girls; 22-01-2016, 06:49 AM.Sometimes I forget to like posts, but that doesn't mean I don't like them.

Well it's all been happening on here. It's taken me about an hour to catch up with all your news. Sorry to hear about illnesses & disappointments. Good to read the happy things too. I should have been going to bond with my new baby GS today, but I've got a sore throat, pounding head & chocker block with cold. Never mind...there's always another day. Whatever you're doing I hope you enjoy your day."Good friends help you to find important things when you have lost them....your smile, your hope, and your courage."

Started off with torrential rain which didn't relent until 12 noon. Finally got to the park and although wet and muddy, not nearly as bad as the local park. Then the sun came out and it's quite warm, so stayed out longer than we should have. Pup fed and sleeping like a baby.
But his routine is all up the spout today, but while he is sleeping I can do some of that housework.Sorry your feeling grotty ladies, hope your all on the mend soon.

Oh dear these colds do take it out of you don't they? I had one last week and apart from the aches and snuffles the worst part for me was the lack of energy(not that I have much at the best of times!) I think the only thing to do is to give in to it and only do the bare essentials, the rest can and will wait for you!
Love and best wishes to everyone feeling under the weather.

Oh dear I hope you are all feeling better soon.
I was in town today having a meeting with my ex-coordinator for the business connector role. Nice meeting. Husband ordered the new fridge freezer for AO. He ordered on line, had a call from a customer service person who asked if we wanted to take out extra insurance cover, well no as it is a fill in before the new kitchen. Told husband he would receive a text giving a four hour window for delivery. We were both out working yesterday so today was the day. 7am a text was received with the promised four hour window, the drive name and telephone number. The chaps came in, took the old unit, came back in with new, unpackaged, plugged it in and went. In and out in fifteen minutes! We kept everything in the old freezer and as it was densely packed we managed to keep all but a couple of things which we can eat over the weekend. Just as well really as we took delivery of some lovely meat from an on line retailer a couple of weeks ago, it wasn't cheap, plus I have home made lasagnes, moussakas, pies, soups etc. as well. Relief that we haven't lost a lot of stuff and of course that my wine will now be chilled..............If you want to go fast go alone, if you want to go far go together
