Good morning Nanto and everyone. Relieved and pleased to hear your MIL is ok.

Love the wintery graphic. I hate snow but when it looks like this I can forgive it for being so cold, messy and slushy.

Today is the first day this week I can stay home - apart from walkies, of course. Take care if it's icy everyone.

Lovely blue sky here. It it looks chilly. Staying home today, I have a selection of books, my knitting etc so a lazy day for me. We are dog sitting this afternoon and DGS is coming for his tea too so will have a good catch up with him

Have a nice day everyone, keep warm.

Cold dry day here. Lots of frost but now snow. Just waiting for my online grocery shopping to arrive then it's lots and lots of paper shredding to get through.
Hope everyone is feeling well . Lots of hugs to those who are under the weather

          Good morning everyone.
After a cold frosty start its very sunny! The window cleaner has just gone. Now the insides look disgraceful in the sunshine
We are painting the dining room and hoping to finish it today.
GD staying tomorrow night, so I need to make up the bed for her, as we will be out all day tomorrow.

Our window cleaner has just been, but with all the work going on in the garden, and mud everywhere, we asked him to leave it till next month. I might even have to do inside by then!!

Went out this morning needed to take a pair of my shoes to cobblers to be heeled they nice comfy shoes so I don't want to part with them just yet or I would have just binned them , then pick Dog up ,.The roads are not to bad but pathways still icy , no one seems to clear and salt them these days , shopping centre car park was only gritted around the crossings not even the Parent and child bays were clear or Disabled can't expect them to do it all but these areas and maybe a few areas to Walk along to get into centre . Got Josh to pick up tea time , we don't have to go to school now we just pick him up from his house it's only two streets away from the school no standing in cold yards anymore 😊

Sunny all day, I decided to venture outside. All muffled up I drove a couple of miles to a shopping parade, bought a few groceries (Waitrose delivering order tomorrow), a sympathy card and had a look around the charity shop. First time out for just under a week.

Plant - I'm glad you are feeling well enough to go out for a while. A change of scene always does you good. Take care. xx

Nanto - I think washing would have dried here today, but between the house and the whirlygig-thing there's a sea of mud!

Oma - you'd think they would clear the slippery areas around the Parent and Child and the Disabled bays! Did you complain to anyone?

                            Good morning everyone.

I hope Brian is over his cold soon, Oma. Rest those fingers!

It's Chitty Chitty Bang Bang day! We bought these tickets, to take GD, back in May. Before we had any idea a baby brother would be on the cards!
We are leaving soon to have brunch at DDs.From there it is 50 minutes to Leeds, where we will see the matinee. It finishes around 4pm, so we shall head back this way, then take GD out for tea, then she is staying the night.

When we woke up it was cold. The heating was off We have a combi boiler, in the loft. OH went up and the pressure had dropped so she sorted it out. The house is just warming up now.

                            Have a good day everyone.

Oma - I hope Brian's cold doesn't hold up his chemo next week. I'm sure he'll get lots of cosseting! I'm exhausted just reading what you've already done today. I do wish you lived nearer - just think of the joy you'd have sorting out my house of mud! I'm not sure why having the front garden done has created such chaos inside the house, but it has! With a friend coming round for dinner tonight, and going out tomorrow I need to get my skates on and do some dreaded housework!

At least the sun's shining! Gem - enjoy the show. Nanto - are you shopping for clothes, or just window shopping?

Hope Brian recovers from his cold to have his next chemo. I don't know how you do it Oma, it is 10.20 and I am still in my dressing gown. I promised myself I would clean my windows today, well....there is always tomorrow.
